American Eagle Inn Fayetteville

I arrived and couldn’t get into the office to check in. Had to use a window with a rotten shelf. After waiting for 5 minutes a man came who obviously doesn’t speak English. Gave him my passport and card to pay. He disappeared for a couple of minutes and then a Mrs Patel arrived. She took my card and swiped it and asked me for the pin!!!! Like I was going to give her that??? The room stank of urine, the wall socket in the bathroom was detached from the wall, there was no tea or coffee in the room as advertised!! The refrigerator didn’t have any feet do you had to lift it to open the door! The air conditioning unit although functioning was extremely loud and I didn’t slop very well as it was so noisy. The bathroom had other peoples hair on the wall and the room was in total disrepair. The pillow case on July bed was embroidered with the name of a Tampa Bay hotel! Although I was expecting it I had to wait until the next morning to kill a small cockroach!! I would not recommend this hotel to anybody!
