The B&B has a really stylish decor, and the bed was super comfy – I slept so well. The owner is incredibly welcoming, and their dog, Dian Dian, is smart and friendly. During the day, I loved strolling through the alleys, and the night views were absolutely stunning, perfect for photos.

The B&B's view was absolutely stunning. We booked a room on the fourth floor, and from our balcony, we had an incredible view of the ancient town. At night, we enjoyed tea on the balcony, soaking in the illuminated scenery, and in the mornings, we could watch the ancient town bathed in the sunrise right from our bed. From the moment we checked in, my partner and I were captivated by the beautiful balcony. Sitting on the moon chairs, gazing out at the entire Fenghuang Ancient Town while embracing each other – perhaps this is what travel is all about. The owner of the B&B was so welcoming and helpful. When we couldn't find the place, she called us right away, even helped us take our car to the parking lot, and carried our luggage to the B&B. Fenghuang is beautiful, and the memories are equally beautiful. Many say it's overly commercialized, and it's true there are a lot of vendors constantly asking if you want to take photos in Miao traditional clothing, but other than that, everything else was great.

This place is a definite gem, friends – book with confidence! I opted for a room with a balcony, and it was perfect: absolutely no dampness, spacious, bright, and featuring a well-designed bathroom with separate wet and dry areas. In the evening, after exploring, my son and I enjoyed some RIO on the balcony. We had a lovely view of the river lights; although not on the very first row, our room was situated on higher ground than the direct riverfront rooms, providing an excellent, unobstructed perspective. Right outside the door, there's a passage leading directly down to Xueqiao Bridge. And when leaving, a small lane makes catching a taxi incredibly easy – completely contrary to what some online reviews might claim about difficulties (I easily hailed a taxi around 10 PM for my 11:30 PM high-speed train). The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, offering great tips on how to explore the area. Plus, if we needed more water, there was a fridge downstairs for guests to help themselves. They even offered a complimentary pick-up from the station, which was fantastic! 👍 I wholeheartedly recommend this place to any friends or family visiting Fenghuang Ancient Town. 👍

The host was incredibly thoughtful and had such a kind attitude. They gave us great tips on exploring streets with authentic local character. Even during our short stay in Fenghuang, we managed to discover so many authentic local experiences and taste delicious food. Plus, there's a super friendly dog living at the guesthouse! 🐶 Facilities: Very well-equipped. Location: Absolutely perfect, couldn't ask for better. If we ever return to Fenghuang, we would absolutely choose to stay here again.

This stay at a B&B completely changed my perception of guesthouses. I used to think they were unregulated and lacked proper hygiene standards. What truly stood out to me this time, beyond the excellent accommodation experience itself, was the dedication and passion the owner siblings put into their work. For us, a B&B is an experience; for them, it's their livelihood! It goes to show that with hard work and a sincere heart, anything can be done well. I can't speak for other areas, but Xueqiao Alley, this place is definitely top-notch. I didn't take any pictures of the B&B myself; the owner's photos accurately reflect the place. Let me share my thoughts. Their warm hospitality is almost a given, so I won't even dwell on it, haha, let's talk about other things! The sister strikes me as someone who truly loves life and is incredibly diligent. She lovingly cares for every potted plant, every fish, and her beloved dog in the B&B. And the peanuts and peaches she bought were so delicious – how does she pick such good ones? 😄 The day we arrived, she was cleaning the fish pond. It had some algae, and honestly, as a lazy person, I thought it looked quite clean. But she and her brother took out all the pebbles and fish, washed each stone meticulously, and scrubbed the pond again and again! The next day, the water was crystal clear! Such a hardworking woman, full of life's wisdom – truly admirable!! The brother is incredibly friendly with children; my little one loved chatting with him. We had booked a room that included meals and had dinner at their place on Saturday evening. When we got back, the brother and sister were busy attending to new arrivals, which caused a slight delay in starting dinner. The moment the brother set down the guests' luggage, he swiftly tied on his apron and got right to cooking! Perhaps sensing my child might be hungry, he said to my little one, 'Are you a bit hungry? Just a moment, little one, Uncle is going to make you a really delicious meal today!' That remark truly warmed my heart! His tone was just like that of a parent talking to their own playful child. Throughout dinner prep, my child kept running into the kitchen, asking, 'Uncle, is it ready?' Each time, he never brushed him off but would patiently tell him the estimated time! The brother is genuinely wonderful! And the food? Absolutely delicious! I didn't get a chance to take many photos; I was too busy enjoying the meal! Ultimately, for them as B&B owners, this isn't just a passion project; it's their job, and you can see the sheer hard work involved! In today's challenging economic climate, their unwavering dedication, effort, and commitment to excelling at what they do are truly inspiring and something I greatly admire. I'm so grateful for this encounter! 😄 Wishing them flourishing business and a fully booked schedule every single day!
