Agnantia Bed & Breakfast

Agnantia is a wonderful family-run B&B close to Fiscardo. Set in an ideal location, it was very picturesque & peaceful with breath taking views across the sea to the island of Ithaca from our balcony. The warm, friendly & generous hospitality offered by Maira was simply outstanding. Every morning we thoroughly enjoyed a homemade Greek breakfast prepared by Maira, with an array of local delights to choose from. Simply the best breakfast we have encountered! Maira' homemade greek pies were out of this world! Simply the best greek pies we have tasted, and each day of our stay, a different pastry to enjoy! Such a lovely gesture, & always going above and beyond to please all her guests. Maira' recommendations for local tavernas was very useful, with 'Makis' taverna our favourite by far, serving traditional greek dishes with a lovely atmosphere. The room was immaculate, comfortable & cleaned daily - everything you required for a relaxing holiday. Thank you so very much! We will return!

Charming location in Fiskardo, Kefalonia. The view is amazing, the apartment was great, spotless clean. Everything is taken care in detail, the breakfast room looks like a family dining-room, even with books for reading. The breakfast is delicious, of a very high-quality. The host, Mrs. Maira, is an exceptional person, taking good care of every guest and her pies are mouth-watering.

An amazing experience of hospitality. Perfect location close to many beaches and to Fiskardo village, great view to the sea and Ithaca island, comfortable rooms and attention to detail. The homemade breakfast prepared every morning with local products is a plus to make your stay more relaxing and give a sense of feeling at home. Thank you Ms Myra and Konstantina!

A heartfelt thank you to Maira and her team for making us feel at home, in charming, tastefully decorated surroundings, with a delicious breakfast and impeccable cleanliness. At every breakfast our family was provided with a pie to take to the beach for lunch, and Maira gave us the most detailed tourguide to the island when we rented a car for some days. She cars for her guests wellbeing. This is truly a home away from home.

Our second visit to Agnantia and it did not disappoint. Greek hospitality at it's best. Maira welcomes you with open arms. All the staff are efficient and friendly. We had a lovely room with 2 balconies. Amazing views. Highly recommended.

A lovely, charming B&B in a little village in the hillside around 10 mins drive to Fiscardo harbour; convenient for exploring the North of Kefalonia though a car is definitely needed. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a sea view, balcony and kitchenette. Breakfast was delicious with fresh juice, coffee, fruit, cereal, local cheeses and honey, homemade cakes and pie (which they will wrap for you to take away if you prefer) and eggs made to order. Beach towels and sun umbrellas are available for use for free. Maira was very friendly and helpful with any requests and her daughter produced a downloadable guide with excellent recommendations for beaches, restaurants and activities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would recommend to anyone looking for a homely place to stay.

We had a wanderful stay at Agnantia, Our room was lovely and comfortable with amazing views. The breakfast that Maira and her staff offered was exelent, fresh produce and homemade Greek cakes and of course the home made pies, that were different every day, wrapped up for the beach if you wanted. Close to Fiskardo but definitely need a car. Lovely areas to explore.

My daughter and I had a very nice stay at Agnantia B&B although it was not quite what we had expected. The room was semi self catering with a small kitchenette. The room was extremely clean however the the furniture and fittings are quite dated for my taste. Breakfast was served in a separate area and were delightful. A good choice from the buffet and cooked options. We were given slices of Greek pie to take away each day which was a nice touch. They were delicious. There is no common area for relaxation. We did have a small balcony and the views are fabulous - but there is no privacy at all. You do need a car as the location is well out if Fiscardo and the nearest village of Manganos. Some lovely tavernas in Manganos.

We stayed at Agnantia B&B for our honeymoon and had a delightful time and found our room had a couple of wooden hearts on the door and in the room which was a very sweet touch. The view from the rooms is absolutely stunning, looking out over Ithaka, and I enjoyed the sunrise from our balcony. Every morning Maira greeted us with a warm welcome. There was a delicious breakfast buffet where Maira cooked eggs however you liked them, and every day cooked a different traditional Greek pie which you could either have straight away or wrapped up for lunch. (One day we had to set off early and would miss breakfast so Maira put the fresh pie in our fridge for later). Maira also had fantastic taste in food and recommended several local restaurants, all offering something different, and would book for us if we asked. Maira really was a fantastic host. She was so personable and went above and beyond to ensure her guests had a lovely time. (There is also free parking for guests, the room had a mini kitchenette which was useful).
