The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the beds are of moderate softness and hardness, ensuring good sleep quality. The location of this hotel is very convenient. It is very close to the main attractions and shopping areas in the city and has convenient transportation. I particularly liked the dining options near the hotel, with lots of local and international dishes to choose from. The hotel facilities, while not the most luxurious, provided everything I needed. The Wi-Fi connection was stable and the breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. Overall, ILLinois Hotel is a value-for-money accommodation option for travelers looking for comfort and convenience."

Haberfield Hotel

"We stayed at Haberfield Hotel for 5 nights. Room n bathroom are both spacious and super-clean. WiFi is free and stable. Hotel is less than 10km from Sydney cbd. Thus, since we have a rental car, it takes us 20 minutes to get to Sydney cbd, if no traffic. Parking is provided for free. This is a total added bonus. There are some nice restaurants in the suburb of Haperfield, eg Little Sicily n Bistro Cocotte. Both are about 1km from the hotel and highly recommended. A basic breakfast is also provided for free too. Nothing fancy, n includes yogurt n cereal. Staff are all very courteous. All in all, I absolutely enjoy my stay at Haberfield Hotel."

"Check in was great I went out for dinner and when I returned I opened the door to find the complete window frame and window smashed and my belongings scattered everywhere. I raced down to reception to advise the person on the front desk only to be told that there had been a 3 hour blackout at the motel and they were sorry 😡 I had to prompt the receptionist to give me another room which he did then he came up took a look and said let me know if anything is missing & walked away, do I started collecting my things only to find that my TAG heuer watch had been stolen so I lived into room 101 from 107 couldn’t sleep thinking I was going to get burgled the second time. Upon checking out I advised a different receptionist that my watch had been stolen he said we are very sorry but I will talk to management to see what we can offer you that was at 10am this morning and haven’t heard a word from the motel management 🤷♂️ absolutely disgusted"

"Very new hotel. Connected to the shopping mall below so easy access to supermarkets and shops. We booked the one-bedroom apartment and it was very spacious indeed. We booked it so that it could allow an extra bed to be added for our child. But the room faced the main road (Captain Cook Drive) and the noise from the road (especially the motorcycles) penetrated the living room loud and clear. This meant we had to move the extra bed into the bedroom and thankfully it was just able to fit both the double bed and the extra bed, so that the three of us could sleep inside the bedroom in a slightly cramped way. If the living room windows had better insulation, or if the room wasn't facing Captain Cook Drive, then would not have been required. The room and the bathroom was mostly clean but unfortunately I found one of the two bins underneath the sink un-emptied before our stay. The room was well equipped with amenities. It even had laundry liquid for the in-room washing machine. But it didn't have room slippers, which is an unfortunate standard in Australian hotels. There are no dining options in the hotel. but at least there are breakfast choices in the shopping mall below. "
