Our trip started out rough...our King room was not available when we arrived and the unhelpful desk clerk stuck us in a double queen room. The room looked like a bargain motel room from the 70's and we were extremely disappointed. The next morning I told my gf that something was off because I would not have booked this hotel if I the website pictures looked like this. Sure enough I check this out and the pictures show beautiful remodeled rooms in a contemporary style. I decided to speak with the management about this. Fortunately the manager was understanding after showing him the pictures and he offered to have us change rooms. There were still no kings like we had booked, but a least we got a nicer remodeled room which made the rest of our stay a lot more enjoyable. The restaurant/bar and other front desk staff were very pleasant and friendly. They definitely made the difference. The pool/bar and restaurant were just reopened after remodeling from hurricane Ian and everything was nice and new looking. Overall a good place to stay on the island, just need to be careful with which room you get. Probably best to request a remodeled room until they get them all done.

My room was huge-really liked the pretty bathroom with the shelving&benchseat. Everyone was so friendly and kind- the restaurant was wonderful-wasn’t sure it would be open- definitely recommend the smoothies.

We reserved a king room and when we arrived we weregild there were none available and were given a queen room, come to find out the next day the room next tours was open the previous night and we could have had what re reserved. Tate the sift supervisor did his best and tried to make it right with a partial refund, then saw him an hour later out helping on the beach with retrieving the chairs.

We had a great time people were very relaxed. The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond.. This seemed more of an adult centered location the few children that were there were respectful and entertained . The location on the beach is wonderful with the light house park a reasonable beach walk... On site dining was great and off site delivery was prompt.

This will be a really great place once they get settled. The room was great, the new restaurant was great, the tiki bar is also great. We stayed 6 nights and our room was cleaned the first 4 days. When they didn’t clean the next day I called the office and was told that you have to ask for your room to be cleaned. It would have been nice to know that! The staff are are really good and helpful. When I spoke with someone about what the actual cleaning policy was she said that they just opened and they don’t have all of the kinks out yet.
The beach is beautiful and they provide chairs but there are no umbrellas. I ordered one from Amazon and checked it like baggage. They sell some at stores there but this one was sturdy and held up to the wind. There is a little construction noise but it is to be expected because they are still working on most of the buildings.
I would stay there again because the people are great and the rooms are clean.

Stayed in a king suite with a tiny kitchenette that wasn't really sufficient to cook anything except to microwave or make coffee. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very roomy with soaker tub and separate shower. Pool area was nice and the marketplace for food was simple but useful.

I wish the Tiki Bar was opened later or had another dining option. I wish they had a Hot Tub/Spa. The service, drink, and food were outstanding. I liked the small community atmosphere.
