Golden Guest House Hakata - Hostel Reviews

Not a great stay at this hostel. The room is very basic, only one shower room and toilet, and service was just okay. Location wise, it's a bit of a walk to the metro station.

It is a Korean guest house. The place is very clean and the guests there are mostly Korean! They all welcomed me with Japanese Whisky and I was pretty drunk. My face is red and they called me “Thailand Potato” haha. It was such a nice experience! I recommend this guest house!!

Location it’s alright, like 20 min on foot to hakata train station. The service is pretty basic if you don’t want to get bothered however, it isn’t clean enough for the japanese standards. It’s cheap though so give it a try if you want to save some good money.

It is very nice feel like home, but the blanket is too thin and very cold at night.

Remember to bring cash to pay the Fukuoka accommodation tax. It's 200 yen. The blanket smelled a little strange. However, the service was very friendly.

I stayed here alone to watch a concert. The boss was very enthusiastic and the room was very clean and smelled good. It's not noisy nearby, I slept very peacefully, and the price is very cost-effective!

It was still new and clean. However, the sound of the door closing was so loud that it woke me up. There was a notice to close the door quietly, but if you don't close it carefully, it makes a big bang! Other than that, I think I'll stay here again next time.

It's about a 20-minute walk from Hakata Station. It's a little far, but it's quite quiet in a residential area. There are supermarkets around and it's very convenient.
