I spent one night at The Mansion on 17th prior to taking a cruise out of Galveston. As a solo traveler, I was well taken care of by Tammy (Innkeeper). I enjoyed meeting other guests during the social hour (cheese, crackers, olives, wine and cocktails were served). Tammy had the porch firepit on for those who wanted to sit outside (on a rare cold Galveston evening)...which I took advantage of after walking back to the Inn after dinner. I stayed in room 6 and enjoyed a bath in the clawfoot tub. The bed was comfortable and I appreciated that breakfast was served until 10:00 am. and there was a choice of items (biscuit and gravy, french toast or quiche).
Thank you Tammy for a wonderful stay in Galveston and at The Mansion on 17th. I'll be back!
