The location is really incredible, at least for me. Ganzhou is a very small town with only 3 Starbucks and this hotel is next to one of them! It is also next to the mall so no problems with food or after office shopping. On the map there is the river, but I didn't know about the sweet river boardwalk, very nice to unwind to. The gym is fully equipped (see pics). My room overlooked the river and I would definitely come back here next time if I can afford it, you get what you pay for at Grand Skylight International Hotel

It has 4 diamonds (4 stars?) which is about right. Location is perfect just a few minutes walk to lovely river boardwalk. The facilities and service is good too, I did not give 5 because it's a 4 star hotel not 5 star. The shower is separate from the toilet (they are not in same 'room'), which is handy if you are staying with a few friends. Each of the single beds are large enough to sleep two! Internet is by WiFi only, there is no ethernet cable connections. The windows are floor to ceiling with a firm desk/table so great for doing any work (tap, click the laptop then stare out the window then tap, click again — rinse repeat 🥱). And the hotel is very conscientious about minimizing risk of infections — tissues, sanitizers etc all over the reception, elevator, corridors etc.

Advantages: good location, close to the old city railway station and development zone, good environment, relatively quiet, not close to the roadside, WIFI speed (7M/sec), more breakfast varieties, and a variety of self-expenses. Drinks such as Red Bull, free snacks and fruits, free mung bean soup in the evening, good service at the front desk 020. Disadvantages: no washing machine (never thought that there is no washing machine called 4-star), the lights are dim, the bed is collapsed, the decoration style is relatively old, one side of the window cannot be closed, the executive double room does not even have a desk, and the round table is not cleaned enough Clean and feel a bit oily. The same price should be considered mid-to-low, not worth recommending. Recommendation index: 3.8 stars

A very solid budget hotel with wallet friendly price tag ------------------------------------------------------ This review is really to help folks know what to expect as it's not a chain. Actually if you want to compare it to a chain, it's like Ibis chain hotels. So similar prices and layout with hard floor, so no carpet or mini fridge cooler, note paper pad, restaurant (but plenty in area). *Note there is no central a/c, use the single stand alone a/c unit — so if you are going to stay here during hot/cold days maybe tell staff to turn on the a/c to get comfy room temperature set up before you arrive. Also take care in the Shower! there is no shower mat and the floor can be slippery. It has a huge bed for such a small room so a group of friends could all pile in and save even more money 😀. There is only one negative, which is I call BS on the advertising ❝ The Weisu Optimal Hotel (Ganzhou Jiufang Wanxiang City Branch) is one of the newest hotels in Ganzhou, having opened in 2021 ❞ 2021??? not! Some of the fixtures and fittings are old, like really old — see photos So for the prices it's a wallet friendly budget hotel you can really enjoy if you are aware of some of the limitations.
