They charge for tap water. This is a terrible policy and I’m sorry I can’t get past it. You can shower as long as you like. You have a lovely glass caraffe in your room and you can drink water to your heart’s content in your room. At breakfast the water is plentiful. But at dinner - you pay. Why don’t you charge 1 franc more for your cordon bleu instead? Or don’t give free bread? Or charge 1 chf more for the room. I don’t care. But to charge for tap water - this is a big insult to your customers. I have been to your hotel many times before and I have recommended it to many friends. But I’m sorry this is the end. You even went to the trouble to write a big spiel in your menu about why you charge for water. I paid you over 200 francs for my meal and my room. I just honestly can’t understand your logic. Kudos to the nice restaurant staff who tried to appease the situation. Your service was excellent and friendly. This review is intended solely for the management of this hotel and restaurant.

Das Hotel Joopi liegt mitten im alten Teil von Reckingen. Klasse, denn das ist alles ungewöhnlich für mich als Urlauber. - diese uralten Blockhäuser...
Restaurantküche im Hotel war für uns klasse. Essen und Service waren echt gut.
die Bedienung könnte zwar gerne auch mal "bitte/danke" sagen, aber das wird schon. :-)
Das Haus ist charmant aber ideenreich eingerichtet. Im Winter sicher noch gemütlicher.

Albergo piccolo, carino e simpatico. Tipico per un soggiorno turistico. Ho ricevuto una stanza singola molto pulita. Purtroppo sopra la cucina e entrava dalla finestra l'odore di fritto.. ma dopo le 2200 era tutto finito. Il personale molto cordiale e piacevole.

Wir wollten am vergangenen Wochenende in Reckingen Minigolf spielen gehen. Da die Utensilien bei einem Hotel geholt werden müssen, haben wir uns auf den Weg zum Hotel Joopi gemacht. Das Hotel hatte offen, es waren Gäste im Speisesaal. Wir warteten an der Bar. Anstatt uns zu bedienen, wurden wir vom Stammtisch aus einige Minuten gemustert, danach wurden wir komplett ignoriert. Ich kam mir völlig blöd vor, alle sassen am Stammtisch aber keiner hatte sich bemüht, die neuen Gäste zu bedienen. Schlussentlich haben wir das Joopi ohne Minigolfutensilien verlassen und fanden im gleichen Dorf ein sehr zuvorkommendes Hotel mit einer äusserst freundlichen Bedienung, die uns gleich weiterhelfen konnte. Wir werden nach diesem abweisenden Besuch keinen Fuss mehr in dieses Hotel setzen. Schade, vergrault man auf eine solche Weise neue Gäste...
