Great to be back here , the rooms have had an upgrade which is nice ! Amazing views ! Staff are lovely ! The breakfast is really good but I wouldn’t bother with Lunch , not very good at all - avoid !

Outdated hotel. Guests from the restaurant next to the hotel look straight into your bedroom and living room. The stairs to the restaurant are one meter from your bedroom window. No privacy at all. Construction work almost in the room. Nowhere to sit outside. The pictures say it all. Don’t take room number 220! You will be tucked away in a corner and have a horrible holiday! Above all - although there are other rooms free - they charge amounts to change the room. Very unpleasant staff only talk about the rules. If you like a spa wellness - be aware it is more like a pool to play with clothes on. All in one. Worst experience in a hotel ever. Totally unexpected.

Nice hotel with peaceful athmosphere. Excellent views to Golf course and to Maspalomas. Good size of pool and nice spa area.

There was of course no mentioning that during my stay there was construction with up to 5 workers building a concrete wall at the front - sledgehammers included - when complaining the hotel offered a 10 percent discount for NEXT stay - overall a pleasant hotel with mediocre service and mediocre food - bad WiFi depending on room location. Very aggressive guest from Switzerland attacked me verbally and almost physically when I tried to walk around the construction site and walked on the lawn in front of her ground floor terrace to get to my room.

I have stayed at this hotel before and it was very good but since Bull have taken over the standards have gone down significantly. The breakfast is horrible. Cheeses are sweaty and some are dried out clearly being reused from the previous day. Fruit is not very fresh, omelettes are under cooked. Coffee at the breakfast bar is not worth drinking if you like a nice coffee, if you just want caffeine then it’s fine. The gym is not air conditioned so it is almost impossible to train unless you want heat stroke and dehydration. They provide two coffee pods in your room on arrival but do not replenish this throughout the holiday, you have to buy more from reception at extortionate prices (note: the Spar down the road sells them much cheaper). Even in the cheapest of hotels they replenish your coffee every morning and this is supposed to be 4 star. The pillows smell really dirty as do the beach towels. The hotel was carrying out some plumbing work and we had brown water for days. When the showers aren’t squirting brown rusty water they are intermittently hot and then cold. There seems to be electrical problems as our lights are continuously flickering. At least the spa is included in the price but it isn’t the best and you certainly wouldn’t pay to use it. To try and offer some sort of positive feedback, the pool area is nice and the loungers are comfortable.

Booked 10 nights at the Bull Vital Suites & Spo. Average price 245 EUR per night incl breakfast. Rather expensive for Playa Del Ingles but looked nice at the pictures. Friendly staff in general and room was ok even if a bit dated. Breakfast outdoor was really nice and staff gave you a good start every morning. The pool area was nice and the spa in the basement was ok, not more. You got one spa towel in your room to be used by the pool, in the spa including the different saunas, meaning you're sit naked and sweat on them. And here is when greed comes in. The hotel charge you 1 EUR extra for exchanging the spa towel. It's not the cost but at real spa hotels you get as many towels you want. It's really unhygienic not to get fresh towels after used them in the sauna for example. The only explanation from the staff and acting hotel management was "It's hotel policy and complain if you're not happy". This resulted in us not even cosidering the massage facilities at the hotel. We did not want to use oily towels after and of course not spending money in the restaurant or other facilities. Our experience of the hotel was good from the beginning but their greed turned it to a disappointment.

Let's start with the good things - the communication with the hotel even before arrival was relatively good, they responded to our inquiries regarding the room location request, but of course they kept giving an answer that they did not commit, but when we arrived, they made a note and gave us the location we wanted (in retrospect, we did not choose well - details below). There are many sun beds around the pool, the room is spacious and the location of the hotel is excellent. Now for the things that disappointed us - we asked for a room in the center facing the pool because of the view but we found that during the whole day there is a very, very strong sun on the balcony to such an extent that it is not possible to sit there all day, it's a shame they didn't put a beach umbrella or a pergola. There was no microwave in our room even though it was supposed to be (we didn't even bother to ask), during the first three days there were massive renovations in the hotel. At first the reception representative told us that it was something specific but it really wasn't, we saw that they had put scaffolding in the rooms next to it to renovate the balconies and also on the roof there was a large team working noisily with a drill and at the same time trucks arrived and unloaded sand into the garden. All this when the hotel was fully booked in one of the most requested weeks of the year. At the entrance to our room there were glasses from the room next door that were probably pushed out for the cleaner to take but they stayed there for 4 whole days. Even though we locked the room, the cleaner entered the room (locking it from the inside has no meaning...). One day the power went out in the gym and none of the hotel staff noticed at all (I went to the reception to inform them) and the hardest thing of all - at breakfast which is in the open bar by the pool there are a lot of pigeons that come and sit on the tables and the bar and the food stalls. Most of the food is enclosed in glass installations, but the surface of the bread and the heater and the drinks and the jams and many other things are exposed to the pigeons that come and sit on them and none of the staff does anything about it. Today there are many solutions for imitating ions even using electronic sound devices. Beyond the fact that it was disgusting, it is simply dangerous, a pigeon sitting on a surface of bread is diseases. Another thing, there is a nice bar by the pool but there is only one bartender/waiter so the waiting time to get a drink is around 25 minutes and the service is not very welcoming either. There are two large and beautiful pools but the water is really cold (it's a shame they don't heat it) and it will be really difficult for smokers. There are no smoking areas at all in the entire hotel except for standing in the strong sun next to a bin in the corner of the pool and restaurant area, unable to sit down and unable to put down a drink. STAY AWAY!!!STAY AWAY!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! If you want to enjoy your vacation, stay away from this hotel like fire. During our entire vacation, every morning, starting at 08:00 in the morning until the afternoon hours of crazy noise of drilling and knocking, and banging it's like waking up inside a construction site. The noise was in the room and in the whole hotel. Banging all day in the pool. If you want to rest and enjoy stay away. ****Don't say you weren't warned*****

This hotel is great and probably the best hotel we’ve stayed at for a lot of reasons. The staff are friendly, funny and efficient. The place is spotlessly clean. I’ve never seen stainless steel handrails and balustrades getting polished around a pool before! Everything is maintained to a really high standard and the gardens are beautiful. If you’re lucky enough to get a first floor room, the views out over the golf course and out to the lighthouse, sea and dunes are fantastic. The balconies themselves are really well designed and offer space between you and your neighbours. The hotel is in a great location with access to all the main areas and is convenient for the Yumbo centre. We don’t normally go back to the same hotel twice, but definitely will be coming back here again.
