"We stayed here for a couple of nights in order to attend a match at the Rugby World Cup in Lille. We chose the Lys Hotel as it was only a half-hour drive from the stadium and was priced sensibly (unlike hotels actually in Lille). Our welcome was warm and friendly and the couple who run the hotel were incredibly nice and helpful throughout our short stay. Our room was better than we'd expected for the price, with a comfortable queen-sized bed, and was spotlessly clean. We liked also the free parking at the back of the hotel (accessed through an archway under the hotel with PIN code access to the gates at night). Breakfast was fine, with each guest getting a small basket of fresh bread, croissant and pain au chocolat. There was some ham and some nice little cheeses for those who aren't wild about the sweetness of some French breakfasts. We'll definitely be back if our travels take us to this locality again."

"Ideally located for traveling in and out of Belgium. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel was a good price with secure parking. Dinning menu could do with more options. Overall nice and pleasant hotel with friendly staff."

"The hotel is quiet and suitable for self-driving. The breakfast is rich and the breakfast room staff is warm. The room was clean and tidy. I don't know why the room suddenly went off at 6 o'clock in the morning. Fortunately, the staff handled it in time."

"The hotel is perfect for 4 people. The suite is perfect. It also allows for quick meals. It's located on the Belgian border, very close to the highway, so be careful, it's poorly served by public transportation (you'll need a car). The pool was not in season. At breakfast, the fresh orange juice machine was broken... too bad."

"Honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised by the value for money. It's very well decorated, quiet, clean, and peaceful, close to shops and 5 minutes from the metro. I'm very flattered by this combination. My next trip to France will definitely be spent at this establishment. 🤗✨🤩"
