I took my kids to see the concert. After some research, I chose Atour S. The main reason is that the two subways are very convenient. You can go to the scenic spot on Line 1, and you can go to the Olympic Sports Center on Line 6. There are also buses at the door. Although the area near the hotel is not very busy, there are milk tea, simple meals, rice noodles, stinky tofu, hot pot, small bars, shopping malls, etc.! The hotel environment is simple and clean, and the decoration is very comfortable. The twin room we booked was arranged on the 11th floor. The room was very clean and the soundproofing was also good. The hotel is located in Binjiang New District with convenient transportation. Behind the hotel is a large shopping mall and close to the subway station. The hotel room is large and has a sunny view. However, the light switch instructions in the room are not clear. The hotel has central air conditioning. The temperature in Hangzhou has dropped a few days ago, so the air conditioning has turned into hot air. Customers can only open the windows or it will be suffocating. The safe and electric door plate also had problems and needed to be replaced. The above problems are not big problems, they will be encountered occasionally when staying in hotels, but what makes me most angry is that the service level of the hotel is really dragging down the entire InterContinental Hotels Group. The first is that they do not help guests make reservations, and the concierge is useless. The hotel lobby is big and tall and looks gorgeous, but what is missing is the staff? Check out today and need a taxi to go to the train station. The front desk actually told me that we don’t have this car-hailing service? Can this be considered a five-star hotel? International brand? The location is brilliant - right next to the river. The evening view from the window was fantastic. If you're into running, there's a great running path that follows the river. Perfect!!! The staff were VERY friendly and helpful. We got an upgrade when we arrived (although not sure what the upgrade included since the room looked pretty much like what we had booked). The room itself was very clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. The bathroom looked nice at first, but then the shower drain didn't work properly and when checked it was clogged up. The water from the shower kept spilling through to the toilet cabin - the sealing between the two needs checking. The overhead shower didn't look clean and the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling. We had an air purifier in the room (I guess that was the upgrade?) but it kept switching off after a minute. And for some reason the hair drier only worked in the socket next to the window. We were really looking forward to sitting by the pool in the evening, but we were told that we had to pay 1,000 RMB to use that area in the evening. That should have been made clear in the hotel description since one of the reasons we booked this hotel was so we could admire the view in the evening from there. Overall, very happy with the location but the bathroom needs repairs.

It has been a pleasant stay in this hotel. It is clean, spacious and has a really good view across the river. The night scene is great and we get to stroll along the river just across the road. Nicole, Kylo and George have been very helpful during our stay here. They have assisted us in every way we needed cos it was our first time here and we didn’t know how to go about it. Overall it was a great stay! Will definitely come back to this hotel again if I were to visit Hangzhou again.

The deluxe double room we booked was stated on Ctrip to be 50 square meters. The room we were given was room No. 1706, which is opposite the elevator. The room size was definitely not as large as the room type that we usually stayed in that was marked 40 square meters. According to visual inspection, it was about 30 square meters at most! The room facilities also looked quite dated, and the bathroom basin handle was difficult to use, not as good as a hotel Express! The most speechless thing was breakfast. I went to the 8th floor around 8:50 and it was very crowded. My wife and two children carried plates and ate like beggars while looking for a seat. After searching for 20 minutes, I finally found a table in the corner. Other guests were complaining too! If the hotel front desk can remind you when checking in that breakfast will be very crowded and try to avoid peak dining times, then guests may feel better! This is the first time I have encountered such a breakfast situation after staying in a hotel for more than 20 years! The hotel service is okay. Slippers and water are provided very quickly!

I booked a hotel here because I was on a business trip. Many of the small designs in the hotel are a refreshing mix of old Guanzhong B&B items and modern minimalist designs. The room is well-equipped and very new. The bed is very comfortable to sleep on, and the fatigue is gone. I usually sleep very lightly, but here I can't hear the sound from the corridor or next door at all. The location is very close to the subway station and very convenient. You can also walk along the path next to it. The check-in was done by Xiaolang for me. I told her that she would wake me up at 4 a.m. the next day and go to the airport, check out at 5 a.m. the next day and go to the airport to catch a plane. But the restaurant hadn't served breakfast yet, so she thought to herself that she couldn't let me leave the hotel hungry to catch my flight, so she silently kept this message in mind and planned to prepare a packed breakfast for me. This is a wonderful hotel with a service at the front desk that goes beyond what they usually do. The lady in the front desk even walked us outside to provide us with directions. There's also free parking lot for guests. The room is comfortable and spacious. The WiFi is REALLY good! The breakfast is also great, and has good coffee. There's a coffee shop (expensive) that we didn't find it too charming. There is a mall nearby with plenty of restaurants, and you can stroll in the nearby area visiting the river banks, and also the science museum. Just a suggestion, they could place a small fridge in the room to have cold drinks, specially in summer.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious and staff were so polite and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. The only downside was the toiletries were very limited. There were not any body lotion , cotton buds and shower caps in our room.
