KPL is a very tired resort. From the get go I was sorry I booked into this place. About the only positive is that it's convenient to the shopping centers and to Phabeni Gate. The receptionist was quite incompetent in that she gave incorrect directions and keys to the wrong chalet. Batteries only worked for one of the air con units and no others, and not for the tv. Only one tiny ice cube tray with tiny ice cubes. One toilet seat was cracked, one bathtub had grout that was moldy, entire unit was very musty and I found it difficult to breathe. The owner of my unit, Shaheen was a terrible communicator. When I shared with the assistant GM my experiences at check in he wasn't particularly empathetic and I did expect a bottle of wine as that would be what any respectable GM would do to ameliorate such a series of mistakes, but this GM, did nothing. KPL markets itself as a luxury establishment yet there is litter around the property, I found cigarette butts that had been there for days on my walks, various bits of plastic on the ground. The place is tired. No updates since 2011 I believe. You can hear your neighbors talking as the walls are paper thin.
