very nice location and perfect room accomodation, the room was a beautiful ambiance and very large and comfortable the restaurant is also very nice and fine food, the service was excellent, very helpful waiter.

Nice hotel with great restaurant (lunch buffets) and nice ambiance particularly of restaurant indoors and outdoors. With the rooms you can get lucky when receiving a modern room. Service is friendly, but did not manage to fix the TV in my room within a day.

Das Essen war wieder sehr, sehr gut! Der Abstand zwischen den Gängen war perfekt (keine Abfertigung!!!) der Tisch wird auch nur einmal am Abend vergebe. Man sitzt im Kastanienhof sehr schön. Der Service war zum Teil hervorragend und zum Teil durchwachsen. Die Weine der Weinempfehlung waren leider fast alle aus, wir haben aber trotzdem etwas gefunden :-). Tipp: Versuchen Sie einen Tisch im hinteren Teil zu bekommen, dort sitzt man schöner und ruhiger als vorne (viel Betrieb, wenn z. B. eine Hochzeit ist). Unbedingt Reservieren!

Hatten sowohl das Hotel als auch das Restaurant besucht. Sehr ruhig gelegen, mit einem ganz eigenen Ambiente vor den Toren Heidelbergs. Sehr gute Küche und tolles Ambiente. Service und Essen super... Ich empfehle die Weinkarte :-) Bei der Preisgestaltung möchte ich mich meinen Vorschreibern nicht anschließen, denn ich komme selbst aus der Gastronomie - und es wird nun einmal alles teurer. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Die Bewertung gilt für das Restaurant. Man kann sehr schön im Freien sitzen. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Vom Buffet musste man sich bedienen. „Ungenügend“ war das Mittagessen hier. Die Qualität des Essens und die Auswahl waren schlecht, unappetitlich und durch eine Vielzahl von Fliegen unhygienisch.

Die Gerichte in der "Scheune8" sind hervorragend - wie immer - aber gestern Abend fand ich sage und schreibe 4 Venusmuscheln in dem Gericht "Tagliarini mit Venusmuscheln und gr. Spargel" für € 25! Venusmuscheln sind nun mal nicht besonders groß, ein paar mehr hätten das Gericht geschmacklich verfeinert.
