We had a wonderful stay at Hermanus Lodge on the Green and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hermanus. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm and personal welcome. The host took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel at home straight away. Our room was immaculate, spacious, and exceptionally well equipped. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras such as complimentary bottled water, a small carafe of port wine, and comfortable bathrobes. These little touches made our stay feel truly special. The breakfast was outstanding. Guests can choose from an à la carte menu while also enjoying a small breakfast buffet with a variety of additional options. Everything was fresh, well presented, and delicious. Another feature we really liked was the honesty bar system. Guests can help themselves to drinks at any time, simply record what they have taken and settle the bill at check-out. It creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The secure gated parking area was also a great advantage and gave us complete peace of mind. Hermanus Lodge on the Green combines comfort, hospitality and attention to detail in a way that is increasingly rare to find. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

Booked a premier room number 1 and we’re amazed by there were no electrical sockets for guests The wonderful staff managed to find an extension lead so we could have a socket for all our electrics . This is unacceptable in 2026.

We loved our stay here, the house is really pretty and traditional, very nicely furnished and very clean. Our bedroom had French doors onto the terrace that wraps around the house and overlooked tropical gardens and a golf course with mountains to the side and behind. The service was amazing, we even found that our car had been washed before we left! Breakfast was beautiful, cooked to order and a beautiful setting. Hermanus itself was lovely and felt very quaint and safe with a stunning cliff walk. The house has secure gates but we walked from the house to the beach and path and enjoyed the walk. We would definitely return

Fabulous guest house in Hermanus The breakfast was fantastic, comfy room with a large balcony facing the golf course. Very clean and the service was brilliant.

Excellent Lovely stay with a very professional personnel very helpful and flexible

This small guesthouse is well placed overlooking the 25th hole of Hermanus Golf Club. Bedroom was spacious with air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious made by Jon and served by Moline. Breakfast only served from 8 am but if golfing early a takeaway breakfast pack is provided. The small garden and pool area is lovely for relaxing either in sun or shade. The first floor lounge and balcony overlooking the golf course were a good place for relaxing too. An honesty bar is provided but we did not make use of it.

Received with great kindness and our mobilty issues addressed and a solution found. Great, spacious, beauriful room overlooking the golf course. Very clean, well equiped and everything in working order. Many kinds of birds very close to the building. Assisted with our luggage. The breakfast was perfect for us. Everything fresh, hot and tasty. A well groomed friendly lady gave excelent service. All staff we interacted with were kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
