We booked here due to cost and reviews. Like many things in life, there are pros and cons. The room was large, but there were NO windows, so the only ventilation was a door to the metal fire escape. This same escape is used by other guests, so anyone in other rooms can come into that room if the door is open. There is no air conditioning either, something to think about in summer. Parking is free and available, and we had no trouble getting a spot. The bed seemed a bit older, but was fine for one night, and we slept well. Everything in the room was clean and, although older, in reasonable condition. The bathroom took up a large corner of the room and had a shower with no curtain or glass. There was a tub with a shower hose and sprayer head, but there was nowhere to hang the sprayer head. So, one of us had to be in the bathroom to hold the sprayer head while the other person showered and washed their hair. Seriously, it's not difficult or expensive to buy a holder for the sprayer head and attach it to the shower wall. The breakfast was basic. Croissants were just okay, machine coffee was drinkable. The breakfast room is large and light-filled, with spotless panes of glass on the enormous windows. Décor is very seasonal and very copious (spring, bunnies, etc) and the walls in the staircase and halls are covered with chicken-themed items....nearly all of which are in English. It felt like we stayed at a Hallmark Cards hotel. We loved Honfleur and hope to return, but this is our sole stay at this hotel.

The hotel is situated outside the town up a hill, in the countryside and has large grounds. The rooms, restaurant are all in the old lodge. Our room 305, was large with 2 beds and ecorated in shades of pink, lime green & white. It had access to the fire escape. The bathroom only had an overbath shower with no curtain or glass panel. Dinner is served in the old dining hall complete with a large open fire, breakfast is as usual in France in a separate room. The decoration throughout is eclectic! The dining room has many wooden birds, rabbits. The food is very good.

Visited for Dinner, B & B. Its difficult to find this family-run hotel and the rooms were fairly small. some up steep stairs. Breakfast was fairly basic, seemed to be no cooked option. However, the evening meal was superb. Service was really good - as it was for aperos and afternoon drinks. The food was excellent.

We stayed with our dog in this beautiful hotel. All the facilities were first rate. The grounds around the hotel were quite lovely. We would happily go there again. The hotel restaurant is outstanding. We could take our dog with us into the restaurant and into breakfast, which made us feel very much at home

Outdated hotel with less than the strict minimum facilities: no coffee/hot water or fridge, wifi works very poorly (sometimes not at all for half a day), curtains too small, very cheap furnishings. Breakfast also the bare minimum (no egg, 1 type of ham, 1 type of cheese, coffee from a tasteless office machine...). Garden furniture outdated. Nothing is well maintained. Bed OK. Free parking. Bathroom OK if you don't mind brushing your teeth with a cardboard cup. Not very expensive but very poor value for money. Moreover, particularly bad located due to the steep climb. Lovely hotel with romantic flair. Very quite and nearby the harbour of Honfleur ( just a short walk/ 15 min.) Around the hotel you find horses and flowers....we enjoyed our stay!

Quiet, small hotel with straightforward rooms set in extensive grounds. Our room was spacious with a modern en-suite shower room. The restaurant appeared to be very popular with locals and offers a wide, good value menu. It was a plus to be able to eat in the garden but the dining room also looked very comfortable. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Good choice if you don’t really want to stay in Honfleur itself.

A superb place to stay. Very welcoming. The grounds are delightful. Easy and interesting walks from the hotel. Food was very good. The breakfast had locally sourced dishes and the dinner choice was first-class. Will certainly stay there again.

We've stayed for 2 nights. The staff was very friendly, open for any question you might have ad willing to find a solution. The location is great: just outside the city center, on a green hill, very nice viewpoints on Honfleur.
