Facilities: It's a small entrance right on the street, and they also have rental apartments. There's a microwave available. Hygiene: Generally good, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. Environment: Lots of great food options nearby, and a well-known traditional tea house right outside. Service: The front desk staff were fine.

Facilities: The room was well-equipped, and we even got an upgrade to a family suite, which was very spacious. Hygiene: It was clean and tidy, with no hint of dampness at all. Environment: There are plenty of great food options right downstairs, and a 7-Eleven nearby, which was very convenient. Service: The front desk staff were warm and attentive; there was none of the alleged discrimination against mainland Chinese visitors.

Traveling from Macau by ferry with my family was super convenient. The hotel is only about a 10-minute walk from the Sheung Wan ferry terminal. For Hong Kong Island, the room size is actually quite generous, offering excellent value for money. The front desk staff were also very welcoming.

In Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, the room is indeed small, but it's well-equipped despite its size. There are two double beds, probably about 1 meter wide. My main concern was my child falling out of bed, but thankfully, the beds can be moved to form a larger bed or pushed against the wall. The room has a fridge and a microwave. The bathroom has good water pressure, and the location is convenient with easy access to transportation. There's a 'Ding Ding' tram stop right outside, and Sai Ying Pun MTR station and the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal are not far. It's also very close to the University of Hong Kong. Right outside, there's a long-standing Hong Kong-style restaurant called Luk On Kee. We had a proper meal there – generous portions and delicious food, and the staff were very friendly. We packed up the leftovers and heated them in the hotel's microwave, which solved another meal for us, haha!

The room layout is simple, clean, and relatively quiet. They require a 500 RMB cash deposit or pre-authorization. If paid in cash, the deposit is returned upon check-out. If paid by card, it takes about two weeks to be refunded. There's a restaurant downstairs with a good selection and decent food. By the way, Ctrip's internet phone service is very convenient.

The room was spacious and the location was easy to find, with plenty of food options nearby, which was very convenient. Compared to other hotels in Hong Kong, it offers great value for money and the bed was also very spacious. I'll definitely book this place again on my next visit.

A female staff gave me a free upgrade which was very much appreciated. She was very friendly, professional, and quite pretty as well. Room is of good size.

Unsafe and Uncaring – Not Suitable for Solo Female Travellers I had initially enjoyed my stay and even extended it. Unfortunately, the following night turned into a horror story. I went to bed early as I had to be up the next morning, but was suddenly awakened around midnight by terrifying screams from the woman in the room next door. She screamed for at least 10 minutes, sounding genuinely frightened. No staff came to help. I tried calling reception, but the phone in my room wasn’t working. I considered going downstairs, but as a solo female traveler, I felt unsafe doing so in a narrow hallway with unknown risks. Eventually, I fell asleep again—only to be woken up later by another round of screaming, doors slamming, and a man’s voice. By 1:30 AM, I was too anxious and panicked to sleep. The noise, shouting, and even music continued until 3 AM. I got the courage to open the door, went downstairs, and asked the night receptionist to intervene, but my night was already ruined. At checkout, I shared everything with the morning staff, but there was no apology or concern. I asked for a partial refund, given how disturbed and unsafe the night was, but was ignored. I do not recommend this hotel for solo female travelers or families. It did not feel safe, and the staff showed no urgency or care. This experience left me shaken and exhausted to the point of getting severely unwell for listening to violence coming from next door.
