Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire Reviews

Just delightful. Beautifully appointed grounds and luxuriously decorated hotel. Wonderful rooms. If you have ever wanted to experience an English countryside, this is the hotel for you. All of the staff are so kind and enormously helpful. They are above and beyond in every way. There are three restaurants on site. We were lucky enough to try two of them—Wild Rabbit and the pizza restaurant. They were both delicious. The buffet breakfast in the morning is also a star. Most of all, the activities you can partake in are simply tremendous. We did an archery lesson and a couples spa massage. Both were divine.

We visited the hotel during the May bank holiday long weekend - our 3rd visit within a year. It was good to see some old faces: Mehdi from Front Desk, Man and Cameron from Conceirge, Tommy from the Drawing Room and Tina from the Kids Club - they are wonderful and real assets of the hotel. We also met some new staff such as Wasiq from Front Desk and Ricky at the Spa - they are super nice to chat with too. Only downside was that we had to wait at the equestrian centre for more than 20 mins for a buggy to pick us up. We chased a couple of times and even my little girl complained to me about the service being slow. Concierge/driver did apologise to us and we were ok to move on - it happens. We truly think Four Seasons Hampshire is a home away from home. I have already booked another 3-nights stay in Oct half term so will see all of you soon!

Have stayed at this hotel a few times before. Just over an hour drive from North London, the hotel is a welcome quiet break from City life. We were upgraded to a larger room upon arrival. In our room was also a welcome bottle of red wine, popcorn and some colas. Great spa experience and the covered pool was a welcome relief from the spring showers.

We just got back from an exceptional stay (for my Mother’s 60th birthday) that had to be postponed and then cut short due to our children being unwell. The hotel could not have handled it better. They were so accommodating and helpful. My son has severe food allergies and they made us feel at ease and did everything in their power to make a safe environment for him. It really was 5*, high class service and we can’t wait to return and enjoy the hotel properly. Thank you to Clement, Chef Tahla, Mehdi, Simon, Courtney and all the excellent staff here. The facilities for kids are excellent they have really thought of everything. All the food was delicious and I cannot recommend this hotel more for a special occasion.

I thought it was impossible to have a PERFECT hotel experience until I stayed at the Four Seasons Hampshire. The perfection started from the pre-arrival enquiries about our favourite colours, music and snacks. We were warmly welcomed by name as we drove up to the entrance of reception and this continued throughout our stay. Our suite was decorated with our favourite flowers, champagne, snacks and a personal note from the GM. We had the Sunday roast and can confidently state that it is one of the best we have had in our many travels. For our second day even the rain did not stop perfection as we were guided to the spa, which was amazing. Especially the outdoor vitality pool in the rain. We cannot thank the amazing team enough for providing us with the perfect wedding anniversary hotel stay.

Bedrooms 3 star Restaurants and bars 4 star Grounds and facilities 5 star Prices 6 star Service quality 7 star A hotel that tries so hard to be quintessentially English that it feels a bit foreign. Think Emirati families in green wellies packing picnic blankets into Range Rovers with Mayfair number plates. But saved by brilliant staff (almost none of whom are from England!)

Meal times were noisy with the number of kids that arrived as the weekend started If you are looking for a quiet retreat this is not the Hotel to go to. If you are looking for a family friendly relaxing hotel with plenty of activities for the kids then this is the hotel for you

Our first time staying with you and what a wonderful short stay it’s been. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were utterly spoilt and truly looked after. This trip was booked a surprise birthday present for my husband, and what a memorable stay it’s been not just for him but us all as a family. I cannot tell you how wonderfully refreshing it was to stay somewhere that not only felt truly special for the adults but ensures children are equally well looked after. We’ve stayed in many luxury hotels where we’ve not felt particularly comfortable bringing our child with us - but the ethos at the Four Seasons is totally incomparable. They go above and beyond to not only make sure as parents we feel comfortable but make a fuss of the children too. Every single member of your incredible team is a true asset - from the amazing team at reception (Frederico, I believe and the lovely lady that checked us out and allowed us to check in later) to the wonderful team at the bar and restaurant (Filipa) who always went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and “at home”. A huge thank you to each and everyone of you. You truly made our weekend and we cannot wait to return!

We stayed here with our daughters, age 6 & 8 months. The hotel has thought of everything you could possibly need as a family it was so refreshing. We have never experienced a hotel like this 100% recommend, we will be back soon.

We have just come back from a long weekend at the Four Seasons Hampshire and I have nothing but positive things to say. From the check in to check out we had the most incredible time. The staff are so good with children and really go out of their way to make it so special for them. My children absolutely loved the passports given at check in and loved the surprise at the end even more. The little touches like cookies and milk in the room, children’s robes and little message on the bathroom mirror all give this hotel such lovely little touches. The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant staff were always attentive and helpful. My partner and I did some horse riding and we also booked pony grooming for my little girl. Rebecca made this such a great experience, she was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My little girl was slightly apprehensive when she arrived and saw the ponies however after Rebecca took 10 minutes to show my daughter all the horses and talk to her about them, she quickly became excited to groom her pony. Rebecca definitely made this whole experience incredible and is a real asset to the stables! We stumbled upon kids club on the day we checked out which was a real shame. I feel maybe there should be some more information about the kids club inside the hotel rooms. Or a little brochure on check in would be great as it’s such a lovely place for the children to play. Tina was so lovely there and automatically made my two children feel relaxed. You can tell she really loves her job and is SO great with the children. We would have definitely spent some more time here, if we had known sooner! We will definitely be back to stay at the Four Seasons Hampshire again!! Thank you ! X

What a treat ! Everything was absolutely perfect ! All the Staff were fabulous, a credit to the Four Seasons ! Nothing to Fault, The rooms, The amenities, The views, the list goes on ! All perfect !

We live in London and this is our happy place! We have been coming here for the past year if we need a quick weekend getaway. In total, we have been to FSH 5 times and each time we left super happy. The rooms are clean, beautiful, and spacious, the beds are super comfortable, the staff are all so friendly, the food is amazing (try the Sunday roast buffet and the pastries!), and the place is super kid friendly. As a family, we love Sharkie's Reef for the kids and the adults pool and spa facilities for the parents. Nothing better than going back and forth between the vitality pool, sauna, and steam room! The spa treatments are also amazing. We will keep coming back!

We love this hotel. The location is superb within 500 acres of beautiful countryside. The staff are the BEST! They take care of every guest with authenticity and genuinely care. The bedroom was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. We had an afternoon tea which was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. There are a wide range of activities within the grounds and a lovely spa and pool. There is also a kids pool and club. Highly recommended.
