I went there for the second time. It is suitable for lazy people who don't want to bother with their kids and can get in close contact with nature. The food is better than last year. It is also dog-friendly.

I rarely write reviews on here, but the Four Seasons Hampshire truly deserves the praise. Tucked away in the English countryside, the hotel manages to strike that elusive balance: honoring the natural beauty of its surroundings while maintaining a relaxed yet refined atmosphere that feels both international and unmistakably local. Aside from the decadently appointed rooms and gorgeous grounds, what makes this hotel exceptional is the service all around. Somehow, the hotel is able to keep a traditional English feel: polite, kind, and sophisticated, while bringing in a fun international feeling with staff members sourced from all over the world. This is a challenge for a lot of chains that the FS has executed perfectly at this hotel. It's the small classic FS aspects that shine brightly here, retaining the small information that most chains would overlook, remembering room numbers, and engaging in small talk. I could continue to rant and rave about this property, but I wanted to provide an example of how the FS was able to de-escalate a delicate situation. A non-hotel guest had come to attend a wedding and ended up not being able to go home due to certain reasons. The staff managed to handle this situation with the utmost professionalism, while still being able to cater to the hotel's guests and taking care of the man who had attended the wedding. I have always lived by the saying at a hotel (or airline): what makes a chain great is when they want you to be there as much as you want to be there, and the FS ticks the box here. Out of all the Four Seasons I've stayed at, this must rank in the top three in terms of service across the world. Thank you for a lovely stay, and I look forward to returning.

The staff really make this hotel. They are so professional and accommodating. The rooms are fabulous. The beds and linen extremely comfortable. It’s a vast hotel but the attention to detail is superb. We were worried it might be a little tired - but absolutely not. The rooms are like new. Great bathrooms too. My father needed an Accessible room and it was perfect. Special mention to the staff - Joshua in the bar and Gul (I’m sorry I did not take her full name. The Turkish member of staff who served Afternoon Tea). Overall a fantastic experience for my elderly parents and their four grown-up children!

We went for 4 nights during mid term break with our 5 year old son. It is by far his favorite hotel and the best hotel we have stayed with for children in England. He loved kids club, pony grooming, the enormous breakfast buffet and the swimming pool. The swimming pool with a water park separated from the adult area is terrific. Staff were great for kids and he loved going after stamps in his passport. The private fire works display was amazing. The only room for improvement would be dinner in the wild carrot and picking up towels in swim area. My pasta and my sons pizza were great in the evening but my husbands lamb portion was tiny and the carrots the size of his thumb nail. It was very much a case of big food on a small plate which was disappointing for him as he loves lamb. A cut of lamb would be more appropriate. Guests abandon wet towels in the kids swimming area which is a pain as it leaves no seats for parents watching. Picking them up more regularly or leaving a big bin for lazy parents would help with a sign that says do not abandon towels please think of other guests. We will be back for sure.

I am a firm believer that love and respect should begin with the people around you, so after watching the superb team work and communication between all staff members, it comes as no surprise to me that the quality of service and attention to detail, towards guests, is second to none. There are not many places that we've visited that feel like home. The appetizing food, cosy room, and immaculate grounds is 10/10. Most pet friendly hotels are mediocre at best when it comes to the cleanliness of the room and bedding they provide. At the Four Seasons, the room was clean, spacious, and luxurious. Thank you for allowing us to create wonderful memories here at the Four Seasons, Hampshire.

Just stunning. We went for drinks and dinner, keen to experience some five star service after some bang average meals out recently and the four seasons wild carrot did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough for us, and all their guests. One of the bar staff even poured a completely fresh glass of champagne for my partner rather than top up the last third from a different bottle. Food was amazing. Steak melted in my mouth (and I have it well done!) Such a gorgeous experience and gave us exactly what we were after. Its not cheap, but its miles ahead of other “fine dining” restaurants in the area that I’ve been to recently

3rd time back. Hotel facilities and services are fantastic. Food was well taken care off Only issue was gym. They have now started to give monthly membership to non residents who flood the gym impacting the luxury experience expected from this price range. Management should note to not be penny wise and pound foolish or will lose regular guests

Loved our stay here, despite a few minor inconveniences we actually enjoyed it a lot and would stay again. Staff are personable, friendly and make you feel more than just a guest. Everything is exceptionally clean and well-run. Nothing is too much trouble for them to do and they will do anything to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The food, whilst expensive, is pretty good. I would recommend the buffet breakfast rather than a la carte if you like full English style breakfasts as we found it was warmer when we got it ourselves strangely enough. On one occasion part of a breakfast order was forgotten and therefore significantly later than the rest, staff knew this and apologised and rectified it as quickly as they could but the breakfast wasn’t hot to begin with so it was a bit of a disappointment considering it was £40 for the privilege. The buffet was replenished as soon as anything was taken from it and it was of excellent quality. The orange juice is freshly squeezed which is such a rarity in establishments these days. Rooms were beautiful and super clean, storage plentiful and I loved the added touches for our two young children (madeleines and juice on arrival, children’s robes and slippers). The sofa bed was just perfect for them, low to the ground and no mechanical arms at the sides to hurt themselves on. My husband and I personally found the duvet very heavy and I had to call down for firmer pillows but it wasn’t an issue, the bed itself was super comfortable. The shower was powerful although the head couldn’t be adjusted and our only issue was that our sink plug was faulty and permanently in the closed position so drainage was slow. We didn’t highlight this to them during our stay to be fair as we didn’t want maintenance staff in our room, but I would have thought a cleaner would have noticed and mentioned it to management at least? I used the spa for a massage and facial, the massage was excellent but the facial was sublime and well worth the money (I had a therapist called Muna and would only have her again if she was there, she was excellent). I didn’t get to use the adult pool unfortunately but the children’s pool/splash pad was excellent and my two daughters absolutely loved it. The hotel has valet parking and we never had an issue with it, it’s really well run, I personally do not like valet parking and so think I’d prefer to have the option to not use it if possible?

This is a great hotel with very good service. Have used this hotel for drinks and dinner. Then entertained clients for business lunches. The food is of a very high standard and have always enjoyed the food. The safe are friendly and know how to manage your table. The reception rooms are grand and well maintained. We have not tried the spa but it looks well provided for. There is good parking and is a short drive from the M3.

A true paradise for children! • So thoughtfully designed, with every detail catered to families. • The splash park is amazing. • Brilliant food options. • The kids’ passports are such a lovely touch. • The room details on arrival are incredible. • The grounds are stunning, and the kids’ club is fantastic. It’s such a magical place for a family getaway, even if just for one night. My only wish? One more restaurant. But aside from that, I absolutely love my trips here!

We were excited to stay at this family friendly hotel and spend some time in the English countryside. Upon arrival, we found the whole reception area odd - it was tucked away in a back room, and although everyone was professional and helpful, we felt the service was a bit manufactured. We soon realised why. The hotel was simply enormous, with long interconnecting hallways that we got lost on. Some areas felt like a hospital (that weird, T-shaped glass hallway cutting through the middle of the courtyard…?). The restaurant was enormous and felt impersonal. The food was expensive and not good. We were most excited about all the activities they advertised for families. The games room was excellent. Although the gym and pool were great, it was set up as a commercial entity with local members, so it was very busy all the time. The good thing was that there were many classes on offer (free to hotel guests), but the flip side was it felt like a public gym and pool ….a bit like we were in the way. Saying that, we did enjoy meeting the local members and they turned out to be a lot more helpful with recommendations than the concierge. The thing that really let the experience down was the cost of all the other activities. I had signed up for archery, clay pigeon shooting, carriage rides etc, but didn’t realise they cost around £150 per person each activity….it was just too expensive. We got quite bored and restless in the end and wished we’d stayed a shorter period of time. The rooms felt 4 star to us. We had a suite with interconnecting rooms. It was dark so we needed the lights on all day and felt a bit depressing somehow. Overall, it felt to us like a 4 star event venue - tailored to large weddings or the like. It certainly wasn’t up to the standard of other Four Seasons and my guess is that it will either require a major upgrade or be sold to a 4 star chain.
