The new women's rooms in the Hotel Waldegg are simply terrific!!! So many details in PINK: the comfortable armchair, the decoration, the women's calender, the yoga mat!! They have thought of everything that makes women feel good. Beautiful harmonious ambience. good bed Enough space. Nice bath. View of the Pilates. Very tasty food in the restaurant. And very friendly and dedicated staff. I'll be back!!

The hotel is in the town of Horw which is a suburb of Lucerne Check in was quick, staff was pleasant and gave us a thorough briefing of the hotel. They seemed serious about quiet times. The room was somewhat small (compared to US hotels), but looked clean and pleasant and had a good view from a small balcony. There really wasn’t much room for our 2 big suitcases to be laid out. The bath was relatively small, but very clean and well set up- very functional The AC worked well The lighting in the room was good and there were enough outlets to charge phones and ipads. The TV was reasonable sized, but only had a couple English channels. The restaurant was very good and dining outside was quite pleasant, but perhaps a bit pricey (it is Switzerland, though) The bed was comfortable, but instead of sheets and blankets it had those odd European half comforter things. The hotel was quiet and sleep quality was good. breakfast was excellent. lots of bread, cheese, yogurt, fruit, etc. There were hiking trails right across the street that were nice to walk around in the evening. overall It was a very nice place. I would recommend staying here.

The room was average. The front desk and restaurant service were very poor. There were no smiles during the whole process. The scheduled superior room with a sofa bed was changed. Both of the sofa beds were broken. Finally, two mattresses were made on the ground. I'm not sorry.

I have dreamt at staying at villa honegg for many years. It is not an inexpensive hotel so I really had to save up to get an opportunity to come here. Finally, I had the chance to come with 2 friends and was so excited. What I will say is that I have mixed reviews. Pros Beautiful location with spectacular views. It really is a pinch me moment overlooking the lake and the mountains, even on a cloudy day They were kind enough to let us check in an hour early and check out an hour late… more on this later. The included breakfast was really lovely. A lot of variety and you can fill yourself up. Plus it is available until 2pm They had a cinema that was so lovely to watch Netflix in. We had a great time watching a couple episodes of The Witcher Service was very good— we felt well taken care of and staff was very attentive. It wasn’t until check out that we hit a little bump Cons My biggest complaint is that they are not clear about the usage times of the spa. We were allowed in at 2pm on check in day but did not stipulate that we were not allowed back once we checked out. Nowhere on the website, not mentioned upon checkin, not mentioned on the tour of the facilities, not mentioned when asking for a late checkout. In fact, on the tour of the facilities, we were told breakfast was available for hotel guest until 2pm, so we assumed spa use would be the same. When we were checking out, we were planning to go for an hour before heading back in town, we were declined and everyone was shocked that we were shocked. We have all stayed at small boutique hotels before and we have never been declined use of the facilities once checked out. Marcel in management tried to explain but said we shouldn’t have made this assumption, which put a sour taste in our mouth. If breakfast is being served 2 hours post-check out, it is odd to assume the spa rules are completely different. Best to be clear. We had to change out of our bathing suits and move our taxi up, which isn’t a big deal but still a bit disappointing I’m going to be honest… you are paying for the location/spa/view vs the actual hotel rooms. For the price, we were pretty underwhelmed with the room. It felt a little dated (wasn’t expecting modern but it just felt a little worn). Certainly for the price, I was expecting a bit more space and a bit fancier of a room. But it was still decent. The balcony, on the other hand, had a spectacular view and really lovely furniture. If ordering a taxi, best to arrange yourself. We ubered from Lucerne for about 60 CHF. We had the hotel call us a taxi and we were charged 125 CHF to go back to the exact same destination. Finally, there was an uncontrollable amount of flies everywhere in the hotel. It’s hot, it’s summer, I totally get it. But it was getting to the point that it was uncomfortable. I had almost 5 flies on me at one time at one point. My friends I was with also felt it was very strange for a 5 star hotel to not be proactive in getting rid of the fl

Close to the lake, super tossing from Zurich airport, train and bus, it took about 2 hours to put it... a little tired~ I know that I will not be so tossed by boat in Lucerne, and the boat is still comfortable. ~ The room is quite big, but I think the door is not very good, I feel that the lock is easy to open, and I bring the anti-theft artifact. The day before yesterday, the staff will return to your question, but feel very impatient. One day, the cleaning staff cleaned the room during the day, put my pillows on the bed, and put my pajamas under the mattress. I found it for a long time, and I went to the front desk and said that my pajamas were gone. I was dissatisfied! ! ! The Staff was very friendly, one of them was Kevin (I Think), and also two other ladies also on the desk was very helpful in guiding us regarding our travel. We stayed for 3 days and the whole concept of the Hotel was different. We had an infant with us and wanted to change the room we were allotted and they readily agreed and luckily they had one bigger room with king size bed to accommodate them. The breakfast was regular and most importantly the staff being very nice and helpful, which has made an impression on us as this was the first time we traveled to this city. For the amount you pay for this Hotel in Lucerne, it's certainly very cheap for the services you get. It's based on a Theme so most of the rooms have bunker beds so even children would love it. Not much space inside the room or shelves to keep stuff. But then its a budget Hotel. Would stay again if I visit this city again. Its 8 minutes walk from the Station.

I really was looking just somewhere to sleep over night. I was out all day from 8am till late. For those hours there is no good transport getting to or leaving the Hotel. Everything was amazing. Very clean. The room had no air-con, so it was very hot. There was a fun. The cows are just outside and their bells are making noises all night. The fruit and vegetable van arrived at about 8am again just outside my room and making delivering noises again. Perhaps the hotel should supply some ear plugs.
