Yemeklar güzel ve yeterli çeşitte Ücretsiz barda personel sınırlı imkanlara rağmen ***retliydi. Yemekte bazen çatal kaşık kahve bardağı vs yetişmedi. Odalar sessiz, klima iyi çalışıyor soğuk ve sıcak su mevcut ve yeterliydi. Plaj hemen otelin önünde, şezlong ve şemsiyede yoğunluk olabilir

Considering we only managed a night here I wish there was a no star option. We arrived late around 11pm, the outside of hotel wasn’t really selling itself for starters, looked like the hotel out of the inbetweeners movie, the reception really made me instantly hesitant as to why my partner booked the place. There was a cat licking its bum on the reception desk, old leather furniture with rips in them, our key was the old fashioned block key for electric in room, unfriendly staff the list goes on. A small man offered to carry my 25kg case on his back as the lift was broken another sign I wasn’t staying long, walking up to our room there was plates sat outside rooms with food on them, random mattresses leaning against walls & conveniently the top floor we were in had broken lights. The room was literally hell on earth, it smelled like someone had died, there was CARPET!! imagine carpets in 40 degrees heat to add insult to injury the carpets were covered in stains off god only knows what! The bedding was patterned which is a massive no go in a hotel, the room was over filled with mahogany furniture it was like they wanted to add as many bits of furniture possible half of it wasn’t needed, I didn’t even want to use the bathroom everything was rusty & damp! I literally cried my eyes out & refused to stay in the room. Receptionist was zero help told me they had no other rooms available but then suddenly decided to move us to another hell hole of a room, this was equally as vile, thick with dust, ants & damp smell. We were itching off the beds & couldn’t wait to leave, everything was sooo dated TVs from the 90s patterned carpets, patterned bedding. The staff were really rude when we told them we were leaving Im literally in shock that the place is still open & people actually go & enjoy it!

At Golmar Hotel I had the best massage with Faik there. I booked in two sessions with him and the hip pain I had for ages disappeared after his massage! I highly recommend the spa there and booking a session with him. Very professional.

Before planning our holiday we had checked the reviews and were ready that the hotel would be a bit outdated. But the location attracted us and we decided to go... When we arrived - we were just shocked completely. Why the hotel says it is 4* ???!!!! It is not even 3*!!! The hotel is old and dirty. Rooms are not cleaned properly, I had to ask at reception to clean the floor in our room, because it was so awful! Food is really bad, be prepared to eat the same food every day which was left from the previous day. Coffee is just some brown thing mixed with water. There was always a weird smell at the restaurant... Pool Bar is just the name. They offer cheap vodka and gin, other kinds of alcohol are always "finish". You can get only vodka with juice, because milk is a miracle and if you happen to ask for it in your coctail - you will with 90% certanty hear "FINISH". By the way, 95% of staff don't speak English, and they don't care about what you say / ask / complain. One day we planned an excursion and were leaving early in the morning. A day before we came to the reception desk and asked for a lunch box for the morning. But when we came in the morning, there was no lunch box and the guy at the reception could only say "I don't know / I don't have". Actually when were leaving the hotel and going to the airport at night, we discovered what they call "lunch box". It is a sandwich with a slice of cheese. Funny :))) 80% of guests are Russians which was really unpleasant. No safe in the room, dirty sheets and towels, torn curtains .... I can go on and on ... My advice: stay away from this hotel, because it doesn't deserve even 3*!

Where do I start? Falsely advertised as a 4* Hotel. Rooms are very dated and are not cleaned well ,they are only willing to change your toilet bin if it's full disgusting in my opinion. The food is terrible luke warm and the same things on the menu. Staff are unable to speak English and when you ask what the food is as there are no labels to indicate what food is on offer, staff would often say Turkish chicken . When it's clearly beef or turkey. The pool bar is a joke with a few selections off drinks and can run out of soft drinks and cups often. This is the 1st all inclusive place I have been with.no entertainment in the evening. I could go on on but my advice is stay away as they definitely dont cater for British families .

this is a awful hotel. food was manila catered for turkish people not thinking of russian’s or english, pool was dirty, kitchen were food was getting cooked was dirty, the man cooking outside was smoking while cooking, cups don’t get washed properly i still had dirt on my cup from previous person, the bar shuts at 10!! no pool table or tennis table, the slides are the biggest health hazard i’ve seen in a hotel before, the tables and sunbeds do not get cleaned of a night time, the aircon is very old and doesn’t work properly, i would make sure this is what you want to stay at before booking as it’s not what i paid for and i was very disappointed

Not long returned from a fortnight at The Golmar Beach Hotel. We've been every year for the last eight years, even during Covid. The Lobby has had a makeover, furniture replaced by modern tables and chairs. Tea and coffee etc. now available all day from machine in lobby, with biscuits/cakes in the afternoon. Many of the complaints in previous reviews have been rectified. New wood laminate flooring in all rooms, new aircon units in all rooms, new flat screen TV in all rooms. We still had an old fridge, but it worked well and large enough for a few bottles of drinks and ice cubes. Cleaner daily, change of towels regularly (sometimes fluffy white). Other changes in the hotel this year include the swimming pool has been totally re-tiled with new edging surround. New loungers and tables around the pool, toppers available for all loungers, if there's not enough out just ask, they are put away each night. The sun terrace has been re-floored and set up as a seating area, with shade or sun, where you can take your drinks from the pool bar to enjoy. Being only a three star hotel, the all-inclusive drinks selection is, as most other three star hotels in Turkey, limited. It includes draught efes, gin, vodka, raki, and Turkish wines. Cocktails are available using these spirits as the base. Drinks are served depending where you will be drinking them, either in glass tumblers or full size rigid plastic beakers. We love the outside restaurant area which overlooks the bay, with wonderful views. Breakfast is great, a large selection to choose from. Cereals, cooked dishes, boiled eggs, salads, meats, cheeses, fruit. Eggs cooked to your wishes at the egg station outside, either fried or omelette. Bread or toast and preserves, honey etc. and freshly made pancakes. Lunch and dinner is still very much Turkish based with soup, several dishes available, plus pide, chips, chicken dippers etc. There's a large selection of salads, always vegetarian choices at all meals. The sweets have always been good here, slightly less selection this year. Drinks available with your meals. Thomas Cook used to supply holidays to this hotel and when they went bust Golmar Hotel owners decided to change their policy, they employed new management, targeted local holidaymakers (Covid also meant not many Uk tourists) and changing from B&B or half board to all inclusive. Unfortunately many UK visitors disliked this change and have chosen to holiday in other hotels in Icmeler. We had a few chats with Ahmet Aydin, the reception manager, in perfect English, extremely friendly and assures us that UK guests are more than welcome at the hotel. There have been staff changes each year, but several familiar faces are still employed. This years staff have all been very friendly and many will chat in fairly good English. Also, this year, there are several lovely young ladies on the restaurant staff. Too many names to thank, all very friendly. We will be back.

I am really struggling to say anything positive about this hotel which is a real shame. We booked with friends and were aware that the hotel was in need of an update however it offered all inclusive and had beach front facilities so we weighed these up as higher priority for the children. The all inclusive is a complete joke. The only place in the hotel you can queue to get a drink is the pool bar which offers very limited drinks which they often run out of. If you go to the beach front or try the cocktail bar (which you wouldn't if you see how filthy it is) you have to pay. If you want any food outside of the set restaurant hours you have to pay. The only food on offer is the disgusting slop they offer 3 x per day and don't worry if you don't chose it at breakfast you will see it again at lunch and dinner. There is no ice cream or extras for the children, however they do offer Turkish cakes at 5pm if you stand in a queue for half an hour and then it runs out by the time you reach the front and are told that's it. The offering isn't worth the wait even if you do get lucky. The Alcohol on offer is Efes Beer in a toddler size cup. This hotel is beyond filthy and then times that by 100. Nothing at all gets cleaned, including the pool area, restaurant, hallways, lifts, reception area. You will see plates of food left for hours and cups all over the place. The pool area had cracked and broken tiles, the wooden stairs to the restaurant and veranda were rotten and broken. The pool didn't have a lifeguard on duty and stairs to both slides were missing non slip flooring or it had torn away on majority. Our room was serviced to some extent in the week stay, we got clean towels every couple of days but you are lucky if you get bigger than a hand size towel. That is the extent of the clean, nothing else gets wiped down. Our mirrors and bathroom walls were covered in smudges of all types and they didn't get cleaned the full week. The staff don't speak a word of English with the exception of the Poolside Manager who when around was the only person in the full hotel to ever smile and at least try to get people to play water polo....if they could find a ball. There is no entertainment at all and music was limited to the same CD. The hotel is a death trap and feels completely unsafe. I was so looking forward to this holiday, the sun was shining and we were with good friends however, the hotel definitely took the shine off the stay. We had to eat out for the majority of the week or constantly go to buy things that weren't provided and should have been. I could go on and on but all I will say is this was my experience, I am totally unsure how there could be any other version as it is truly a disgustingly terrible hotel.
