"First, our request for a high floor was kindly accommodated—we were given room 11825 on the 18th floor, which features panoramic ocean views and elegant interiors. Many thanks to your team for that. In fact, my wife has a special request: could we please have this same room every time we stay at Dorsett? Second, the thoughtful gesture of a card, chocolate, and a bottle of wine for our special occasion truly showed how much effort your team puts into making guests feel valued. Third, both my wife and our child absolutely loved the pool and jacuzzi at Star Grand. So overall, our stay was amazing, to say the least. But none of this would be possible without first acknowledging your wonderful hotel staff. You probably see hundreds of guests each day, yet you still take a personalized approach—staying in touch with each guest and understanding their individual needs. Honestly, I hope other hotels will follow your example and make this the gold standard for excellence in customer service. Our last two hotel bookings through Trip.com were disappointing, but fortunately, your hotel never lets us down. The gold-accented interiors are striking and have become a signature look of your hotel. We’ll remember them just as fondly as we remember landing at Singapore Changi Airport. We recently bought a new house and have been decorating with gold-colored furniture from Koala Living. After staying with you, we’ve realized that our inspiration was inadvertently drawn from your hotel rooms. We come to Dorsett every year and have never been disappointed. We look forward to returning again soon."

"Our two-bedroom suite had one room without a window, and the second-floor window faced the lobby, so the air circulation wasn't great. But for the price, you can't really complain too much!"

"The room was excellent. It was fully equipped with a kettle, washing machine, dryer, stove, oven, and coffee machine. They even provided pots, pans, dishes, cups, and a dishwasher – I felt like I could just live there! The front desk staff were very friendly and patiently answered all my questions. Plus, they offered complimentary luggage storage for the entire day after check-out. Everything was perfect!"

"Comfortable, Liveable Stay in a Prime Location Avani Residences works particularly well if you want a proper apartment rather than a standard hotel room. The residence-style layout makes it far more liveable, especially for stays longer than a night or two. The apartment had good internal space, a usable balcony, and modern fittings throughout. A real highlight was having full laundry facilities – washing machine and dryer – which made it easy to deal with wet swimwear and beach towels. The fully equipped kitchen, including a breakfast bench, was practical and well set up rather than decorative. Location-wise, it’s excellent. The building sits opposite the new casino precinct developments, diagonally across from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, and only a short walk to the tram stop, making it easy to get around without a car. Broadbeach itself feels more relaxed than Surfers Paradise, and the beach here is currently in better condition, with Surfers losing a fair bit of sand after Cyclone Albert. The complex itself is modern and well maintained, with a pool, small gym, and a clubhouse-style bar/restaurant. It’s also close to other new developments in Broadbeach, so the area feels fresh and active without being chaotic. Overall, a strong choice if you value space, self-sufficiency, and location, and prefer an apartment-style stay over a traditional hotel experience."

"booked studio apartment but was only second bedroom from another apartment with enquire which was a little deceptive and not able to do anything about it as already had paid for it through the app. Bathroom sink tap wasn't attached to sink but still usuable....location is good right next to restaurants etc..."
