"The location is pretty good; it's within walking distance to the Central Station, although the uphill walk might be a bit tiring with heavy luggage. The front desk service was excellent, and the Hong Kong gentleman who helped us made communication very smooth. We stayed in an accessible twin room, which was quite spacious, but the showerhead in the bathroom was old and had tape wrapped around a damaged connection. Since we had an early flight the next morning and couldn't make breakfast, the front desk kindly provided us with packed milk and cereal. Overall, it offers good value for money!"

"We booked a private 3 bed room as a couple. It was spacious enough for us. The mattress could get changed as it’s quite worn down. The AC was actually disgusting to say the least. It’s good they have one in the room but we had to turn it off because it smelled really bad. Luckily we went in winter so the small window was fine. The community areas were tidy as well as the bathrooms. We did not use the pool but it’s a great addition to have! Breakfast was fine as well"

"Our stay at Madison Tower Mill Hotel was comfortable and convenient. The hotel is located close to the Brisbane CBD, Roma Street Station, and Central Station, making it easy to get around. There is also a City Loop bus stop right next to the hotel, which is very handy. One downside is that the hotel is situated on a hill, so there are quite a few steep walks and stairs when returning to the property. The hotel also provides limited amenities, no toiletries, and no slippers provided, meaning guests need to walk barefoot on the cold floor. The room size was okay but comfortable, with enough space for four people to move around without feeling cramped. Overall, it is a good option for travellers looking for a convenient location close to public transport and the city centre."

No sunlight came in all day, making it very dark. We considered asking to change rooms, but since we were out all day and only came back to sleep at night, we decided against it."

"A beautiful heritage hotel in a nice location. Close enough to wander into the City but far enough away to have a more peaceful and intimate vibe. Lovely interiors. Our bedroom I felt was a little bland. Could benefit from a bit more styling and comfort, to keep up with the quirkiness of the hotel I have rated less due to the TV not working. We didn't realise this until late, when we were tucked up in bed, and decided it wasn't an issue not to be able to watch it. However, it wouldn't power down, and the screen glowed a dull blue all night, resulting in not the best of sleeps! The receptionist at check out pointed out that we should have informed them at the time, but showed no sympathy and didn't apologise at all. She actually didn't come across as very friendly at all, which was disappointing, as the rest of the staff seemed to be very friendly and approachable A shame really, as this did slightly spoil our stay, and I wouldn't be so keen to stay there again unfortunately"

"Soho hotel moved my booking to Mercure hotel. I expected will be better, but I am quite disappointed. I arrived early than official check in time, so I was waited at lobby. Receptionist told me will remind me once the room ready. After waited 3 hours, and I saw a lot of people checked in, I asked the receptionist and found she forgotten me. The mug in the room was dirty, towel dirty, drill renovation noise before 7am in the morning, honestly quite disappointed. I recorded the drill noise but cannot upload video here."

"Highly recommended for the price! I stayed one night to get to the airport in the morning, and it was perfect for that. The room had everything you needed, and there were plenty of bathrooms. The good thing about the bathrooms was that they were individual. The room was equipped with a fridge and a microwave. There was also a kitchen, which unfortunately wasn't very well-equipped, but it was sufficient for my needs. The man at the front desk was very relaxed and nice. The deposit was returned a few hours after check-out. The only real downside was that you could hear everything. The walls were very thin, and you could hear everything from above as well. The street was also very noisy. However, it barely bothered me personally. I would definitely come back for a short stay."

The location was great, close to the city center, and the facilities were clean and nice. Having a well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, was very convenient. The room was also spacious, which made it feel less cramped.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it easy to relax after a long day. They kindly stored my luggage at 8:00 a.m., which was very helpful. The staff explained everything clearly and in a friendly manner, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel is conveniently located near a station with direct access to the airport, and it’s also within walking distance of the city center. Thanks to this, I had a wonderful and enjoyable time. I would definitely stay here again.

The airport arrived at the hotel very late, did not inform the front desk, the front desk had rested. I played a lot of calls and pressed the doorbell a lot of time. A super kind uncle helped me check in. He said that the check in the next night should be informed in advance, people are super nice. The hotel has free indoor parking, plus points!

The location of the hotel is very easy to find, only ten minutes' walk to Queen Street. The room has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which are easy to use. The kitchen is fully equipped with kitchen utensils for cooking.
