"The homestay in the village is integrated with nature. There are many tourist spots nearby. We stayed for three nights and traveled slowly. We were arranged to stay in an ancient building with a history of more than 100 years. This building was formerly a school. The rooms are decorated in Chinese style in the Republic of China, which is comfortable and practical. The store manager also arranged dining and travel suggestions for us. Thank you very much! "百侯山庄 is truly a gem addition to the town. The property is very well maintained, peaceful and tranquil. Everyone from front office, kitchen, security and housekeeping are like family and we had many lovely conversations with them. Special thanks to the chef for our daily breakfast who cooked up all the lovely Hakka dishes and even treated us to a special one on our last day. The climb to the top of the hill at the back of the property is well recommended if you have the stamina as the view is beautiful. Location wise is ideal as 百侯镇 is just across the road as well as 田园农庄 around 600m up from the right of the property serves very tasty Hakka food definitely worth the walk up. Overall our trip back to the ancestral hometown has been made perfect with our stay here. Just want to say thank you to all the staff at 百侯山庄 for making this a complete and memorable trip!
