"I stayed here again after a few months, and Hampton by Hilton is always my first choice. This particular hotel has a mall downstairs and a commercial street nearby, which is great for a leisurely stroll. The surroundings are nice, and parking is convenient. I brought a lot of dirty clothes, and their self-service laundry room has automatic washing and drying, plus disinfection, which is fantastic. They also consider guest safety very well. This time, there was a coffee machine, and the self-service operation was very simple. The slippers in the room are also very comfortable. When I checked out, I asked for kids' slippers, and the staff enthusiastically provided a set. The breakfast overall is very good, with a wide variety, and the pastries taste quite authentic."

The hotel gym is very well equipped, but it is a pity that it is poorly managed and the fitness equipment is piled up in a mess. The most intolerable thing is that someone smokes in the gym. . . The hotel is located in the center of Jining, so it is very far from the highway intersection. Parking must be underground. The underground parking lot lacks guidance and the signs are unclear. From all aspects of the details, the overall management of the hotel needs to be improved, and the room facilities are in urgent need of repair and regular maintenance."

"Had a fantastic stay! The location is a huge plus, very close to shopping areas and attractions, making it super convenient for exploring and dining without detours. Room facilities are well-maintained; the TV picture quality was clear, Wi-Fi signal was stable, and there were plenty of charging outlets – thoughtful details. The service was incredibly warm; they proactively helped with luggage during check-in and even provided helpful tips for local sightseeing. Any requests were handled quickly. Cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, odor-free, and had a great wet/dry separation. GGuest UserA great hotel with excellent service! Shandong hospitality at its best. From the security guards to the front desk, everyone was incredibly polite. They helped with my luggage and guided me to my room. The room itself had a lovely little courtyard, and the main courtyard was also beautiful. It's right by the city wall, so you can catch the gate opening and closing ceremonies in the morning and evening. The room had a smart toilet and a projector, which was a nice touch. I only stayed for one night, but it was a very comfortable experience.

GGuest UserThe room facilities were excellent, with smart home features throughout, and the TV even allowed screen mirroring. There were two types of pillows to choose from, which was a nice touch. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel's overall environment was outstanding. The location is superb, less than a ten-minute walk to Wanren Palace Wall. The hotel is situated at an intersection, with several large shopping malls within 500 meters. Overall, it was fantastic. The staff were also very accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 1 PM, which was a great help as we were traveling with family and could explore in the morning without our luggage. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI chose this hotel for its amazing architecture and also because the interior design is by a Singaporean firm (yes, Singaporean pride! And yes, I’m the guest from Singapore). Qufu is a small town and the hometown of Confucius, and everyone has an endearing way of addressing each other as Teacher or Laoshi here, as 子曰：三人行必有我师 ie we can learn something from everyone. I dare say the JW Marriott is one of the best options in international hotels here aside from the Shang, but Marriott is more conveniently located to the Confucius Temple site and main tourist attractions. I love the 孔门豆腐 here; I had it twice during my short stay. There is a nice story behind the dish; let the server tell you about it. The one who served me was lovely. I asked her if I could record her introducing the dish; she was a little shy and said her Putonghua is not standard (yes, the local people talk with a thick Qufu accent, so if you are out of town, ask them to repeat to you slowly in Putonghua or use a translator), but she allowed me to record anyway. Charming place.

Environment: Convenient for dining and attractions nearby. Service: The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and professional. P.S. The last time I came to Jining was shortly after the Shangri-La first opened. Hopefully, I'll return to experience it again after its next renovation. MMalidaThe room was very satisfactory! Especially for breakfast, we could eat sweet potatoes from Sishui, which were really delicious. They were the best sweet potatoes I have ever eaten in my life, sweet and sticky. In the evening, the hotel not only provided fruits, but also provided some longan and white fungus health porridge. Although I was afraid of getting fat, I couldn't resist the temptation and ate it.

The rooms are in the back courtyard, very quiet, and there's a bar in the front courtyard where you can socialize. The price is also reasonable. Cleanliness: Very good, very clean. Environment: Great, the transportation nearby is very convenient, and it's also very close to the attractions. Service: Classic hostel style, everyone is very nice and approachable. TThe MerlionSummary Great location BUT loud music at 745/8am daily for 30mins , plus cigarette stench in rooms Location Excellent, right Infront of Kong Temple (it's huge), HOWEVER be warned of the loud music coming from the temple and cigarette smell (read below). Kong Mansion is about 5mins walk from the Temple's right , and then the cemetery is located behind the There is a performance at the front of the temple gates at 8am every morning - the music is so loud it will wake you up from 745am 😂 10mins walk to their pedestrian street , you will find Luckin Coffee, Hey Tea etc and I highly reccomend MOBEN Thai restaurant located about 5mins walk (north) from Hey Tea . Rooms We walked into a room which stunk of cigarette smell. Suspect it was either coming through the shared air vents or the linen/towels , as if they were dried at a location where others smoke nearby. It's a pity because it's a really nice hotel. We had someone trying to enter the lift with a lighted cigarette in his mouth , and I had to push him out . That's crazy . Breakfast Simple and nice local spread. Gym Only 1 threadmill and 1 spinning bike , shared in the same room as the guests washing machine & dryer. Staff Very helpful and polite staff but they don't speak English. Have your Google translator ready

GGuest UserOlder hotel, but still in pretty good condition. Nice quiet location. Breakfast OK. Must have the strongest coffee in China. Still, hotels providing toast without butter or margarine is a bit of a bugbear of mine, but a minor problem nonetheless. Shout out to the staff at this place who were all attentive, helpful and wonderfully pleasant. This hotel is about 1500m due South of the old town South Gate. To get to the hotel from the fast train station, take bus K01 (¥1) and get off at Datong Lu. Turn right for a hand made noodle restaurant at the intersection. Across the road is a popular McDonald's, and downstairs from that is a fully stocked supermarket. The 'san kong' sights start at the South Gate where you buy your thru ticke int. The temple and mansion are very interesting, and expect crowds. ¥7 for a Didi to the South Gate. The cemetery where 100k Kong people are buried is worth a look for the Confucius burial area. This area is only a 500m walk from the entrance. The whole wooded area is large, but you can skip the bus tour as they only stop at the main site anyway, and drive like Fangio through the rest. A slow three wheel open trike cost ¥10 back to the hotel

GGuest UserI loved my stay here! The people who run this place are super kind and welcoming. The room was big, clean and comfortable, and had everything you need (toiletries, water, tea, kettle, tv, good WiFi etc.). The location is perfect, just a 1 min walk from Confucius Temple and there’s a bus (K01) reaching there directly from Qufudong Railway Station. Would definitely stay here again!
