The room is clean and tidy, the decoration is unique, and the facilities are complete. Because it is the Spring Festival, the hotel specially provided a fruit plate. The room was upgraded to the south side with a small courtyard for free. The housekeeper Qi Tiantian arranged by the hotel is very responsible and contacted the attractions in time Pick-up and drop-off vehicles are available at the scenic spot, and the scenic spot tour activities are arranged.

Anonymous UserThe nightlight next to the bed turns on whenever I move, which is very disruptive to sleep. I'd like to contact the hotel to change it to a touch-sensitive setting or to be able to turn it off. I've already informed the housekeeper, who said they'll report it to their supervisor immediately, and they've been very helpful.
The hotel's housekeeper service was professional and attentive, and I was very satisfied. From the moment I checked in, housekeeper Zhang Zhihao proactively explained the room amenities and breakfast times, and provided practical restaurant and transportation recommendations based on my itinerary. The entire process was smooth, and the courteous and thoughtful attitude made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was able to take a nap in the hotel midday before continuing my adventures, which was great.
Overall, the housekeeper service was efficient and reliable, with thoughtful attention to detail and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

BeiwuhuanmingyuanThis hotel is arguably the closest to the Confucius Temple. It's just a two or three-minute walk to the Wall of Ten Thousand Ren (Wanren Gongqiang). I managed to catch the closing ceremony in the evening, followed by the light show at night, and then the opening ceremony the next morning.
The courtyard environment is beautiful, with little rabbits and cats, and lots of flowers and plants. The room itself was very spacious. I booked a twin room but actually got a two-story loft, with traditional large wooden doors – it was a really unique experience.
The service was warm and attentive. They offered snacks and a gift upon check-in, and brought yogurt in the evening. Breakfast was generous with a good variety. I also had lunch here; both the Qilin Yushu and the stir-fried pork were delicious.
They even gave me a ruler as a souvenir when I checked out, which I carried all the way home!

I had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Qufu. The hotel is elegant, very clean, and what impressed me the most was its beautiful traditional Chinese-style design, which perfectly matches the cultural atmosphere of Qufu.
All of the staff were professional, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. Their kindness and attention to detail made me feel very comfortable.
The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of high-quality food. I would rate it 9.5 out of 10.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Qufu, and I would be happy to stay here again.

Guest UserThe hotel has a predominantly Chinese resort-style vibe, and I'd give top marks for its location, facilities, amenities, and service. Most importantly, the hotel's atmosphere is fantastic.
The hotel is just a wall away from the Three Confucius Sites scenic area, but compared to the uninspired tick-the-box sightseeing, a staycation at QuFu JW Marriott completely blows it out of the water.
Before coming, I checked some online reviews, and some mentioned the hotel's hardware was subpar. I actually think that's a bit unfair. Firstly, the room's layout is excellent, giving a very well-designed feel. The bathroom features Kohler fixtures, and for a hotel opened in 2019, it even has a Kohler automatic toilet. My only two minor criticisms are that the night light isn't very bright, and the water temperature fluctuates during showers. The hotel's soft furnishings are also very interesting, with many books of ancient Chinese poetry (Shijing) in seal script and bamboo carvings. The decor is very Qufu-esque, incorporating many local elements, which is truly wonderful.
Regarding amenities, I tried the hotel's Chinese restaurant and the barbecue restaurant. Both offer great value for money, and the service quality is excellent, with the dishes receiving top marks. At the Chinese restaurant, I recommend the stir-fried shrimp with cabbage, and at the barbecue restaurant, the pork belly skewers. The Chinese restaurant's decor also has a very Confucian feel, and the barbecue restaurant even has a live singer, making the atmosphere truly superb. As for breakfast, guest services actually provided a complimentary one, but they stop serving at 10 AM, and I only woke up at 10:01 AM... This is probably my only minor regret, but it's not a big deal and gives me something to look forward to for my next visit! Here's a small suggestion: for a resort hotel, breakfast should ideally be served until at least 10:30 AM.
In terms of guest services, both the concierge and the WeChat butler were excellent, with very prompt responses to requests. I'm very grateful for them making me feel right at home. The welcome fruit delivered in the evening was ginseng fruit, and although there wasn't a huge variety, it was unique and tasted particularly good.
Finally, a huge thank you to: the manager of the Chinese restaurant (I actually gave a small suggestion regarding the food presentation, and because of their excellent service attitude, despite a minor issue, they even sent me a fruit platter – truly embodying Qufu hospitality's humble approach), Sun Na and Zhang Xue from housekeeping, and Xiao Yuan and Xiao Gao from guest relations. Thank you all for providing me with such a 'home away from home' experience.

I highly recommend the Nishan Academy Hotel. It's a garden-style hotel with a shuttle service from the front desk to the rooms. They also offer shuttle buses to Nishan Sacredland and Luyuan Village. The breakfast is high quality. I suggest staying two nights to have a more relaxed experience. Generally, a butler will add you on WeChat and respond promptly to your needs.
We stayed in a mountain-view garden room, and the window view was beautiful. On a rainy day, looking out at Nishan shrouded in mist, my child said, 'It reminds me of a poem: 'Where white clouds gather, there are homes.' The mountain-view garden twin rooms cannot be combined (there's a hanging nightstand in the middle that can't be moved). If you're worried about children falling off the bed, you can use a large chair to push against the side of the bed. I heard that the twin beds in the villas can be combined, but with one room and one small courtyard, ordering two rooms for our trip felt less convenient with two separate courtyards, and it was also more expensive. I really liked the breakfast at Nishan Academy Hotel and their Yatang Chinese restaurant; I found them more palatable than places in Qufu city.
I recommend checking room types and offerings on multiple platforms and the hotel's official WeChat account. I prefer the 'room + breakfast for two' package and not the ones that include tickets. Although Nishan Sacredland and Luyuan Village are quite large and commuting can be inconvenient, the complimentary dual-park tickets (usually valid for 2 days, with two entries to Nishan Sacredland and one to Luyuan Village) were generally sufficient. However, unlimited entry tickets offer more peace of mind, and more importantly, they aren't expensive.

Guest UserA top-notch hotel! It's close to Liangshan Scenic Area, with a great location and environment. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and high-end, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options, enough to fill you up and satisfy you! One suggestion: the air conditioning wasn't working on the night of our stay. We called housekeeping at 10 PM, but the technician couldn't fix the problem, so we had to sleep with the windows open all night.
