The hotel environment is beautiful, with exquisitely designed garden landscaping. Just a heads up that the shuttle bus to Nishan Sacred Land has time limits, roughly once an hour, so be sure to check the shuttle schedule on the first floor. The sofa bed in the room can comfortably accommodate an adult, which is convenient for family trips. Overall, highly recommended.

The nightlight next to the bed turns on whenever I move, which is very disruptive to sleep. I'd like to contact the hotel to change it to a touch-sensitive setting or to be able to turn it off. I've already informed the housekeeper, who said they'll report it to their supervisor immediately, and they've been very helpful. The hotel's housekeeper service was professional and attentive, and I was very satisfied. From the moment I checked in, housekeeper Zhang Zhihao proactively explained the room amenities and breakfast times, and provided practical restaurant and transportation recommendations based on my itinerary. The entire process was smooth, and the courteous and thoughtful attitude made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was able to take a nap in the hotel midday before continuing my adventures, which was great. Overall, the housekeeper service was efficient and reliable, with thoughtful attention to detail and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Qufu. The hotel is elegant, very clean, and what impressed me the most was its beautiful traditional Chinese-style design, which perfectly matches the cultural atmosphere of Qufu. All of the staff were professional, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. Their kindness and attention to detail made me feel very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of high-quality food. I would rate it 9.5 out of 10. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Qufu, and I would be happy to stay here again.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Confucius Temple, just a few steps away. It was incredibly convenient for watching the gate-opening ceremony in the morning, exploring the Three Confucius Sites during the day, and enjoying the light show in the evening. The breakfast was very plentiful, and we had dinner at the hotel, which was both delicious and reasonably priced. The room had a unique character, and the butler even upgraded our room type, allowing my whole family to stay more comfortably and spaciously, which was very thoughtful. The complimentary small gifts like the fan and ruler were also very practical and special. The cats and rabbits were adorable too. The only slight downside was some issues with the toilet and shower, but the butler resolved them promptly.

I don't understand why such a good hotel only has a 4.7 rating on Ctrip. Review 1 was so critical of everything about the hotel. After staying here, I realized this is an incredibly value-for-money scenic hotel with a strong vacation vibe. The staff's service is very thoughtful and excellent. I was traveling with my 80-year-old parent, and Ms. Kong, the lobby manager, was incredibly patient and helpful with my parent, proactively greeting and assisting them. Dasha Wang at the front desk helped me with documents late at night, and her attitude was consistently wonderful – truly touching. Today, I booked the hotel's travel photoshoot, and the photographer was excellent; the photos I shared with friends received countless compliments. I especially want to praise the makeup artist, who was incredibly efficient. They didn't pressure us when selecting photos either. This made me think of the first night in Qufu, at a certain B&B with a 4.9 rating on Ctrip, which was full of flies and smelled of cat feces. It makes me wonder, has Ctrip been ruined when it comes to Qufu?

The front desk clerk Chen Yuanyuan had a bad attitude. He refused to admit it in the face of the established facts. In the case of communicating with other waiters the check-out time the night before, he did not communicate well and did not solve the problem in time. He kept shirking responsibility. The experience is very poor. As the best hotel front desk clerk in Liangshan, this attitude is to see foreigners bullying or usually the hotel training is trained to be such a quality.

I highly recommend the Nishan Academy Hotel. It's a garden-style hotel with a shuttle service from the front desk to the rooms. They also offer shuttle buses to Nishan Sacredland and Luyuan Village. The breakfast is high quality. I suggest staying two nights to have a more relaxed experience. Generally, a butler will add you on WeChat and respond promptly to your needs. We stayed in a mountain-view garden room, and the window view was beautiful. On a rainy day, looking out at Nishan shrouded in mist, my child said, 'It reminds me of a poem: 'Where white clouds gather, there are homes.' The mountain-view garden twin rooms cannot be combined (there's a hanging nightstand in the middle that can't be moved). If you're worried about children falling off the bed, you can use a large chair to push against the side of the bed. I heard that the twin beds in the villas can be combined, but with one room and one small courtyard, ordering two rooms for our trip felt less convenient with two separate courtyards, and it was also more expensive. I really liked the breakfast at Nishan Academy Hotel and their Yatang Chinese restaurant; I found them more palatable than places in Qufu city. I recommend checking room types and offerings on multiple platforms and the hotel's official WeChat account. I prefer the 'room + breakfast for two' package and not the ones that include tickets. Although Nishan Sacredland and Luyuan Village are quite large and commuting can be inconvenient, the complimentary dual-park tickets (usually valid for 2 days, with two entries to Nishan Sacredland and one to Luyuan Village) were generally sufficient. However, unlimited entry tickets offer more peace of mind, and more importantly, they aren't expensive.

A top-notch hotel! It's close to Liangshan Scenic Area, with a great location and environment. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and high-end, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options, enough to fill you up and satisfy you! One suggestion: the air conditioning wasn't working on the night of our stay. We called housekeeping at 10 PM, but the technician couldn't fix the problem, so we had to sleep with the windows open all night.
