GGuest UserA great hotel with excellent service! Shandong hospitality at its best. From the security guards to the front desk, everyone was incredibly polite. They helped with my luggage and guided me to my room. The room itself had a lovely little courtyard, and the main courtyard was also beautiful. It's right by the city wall, so you can catch the gate opening and closing ceremonies in the morning and evening. The room had a smart toilet and a projector, which was a nice touch. I only stayed for one night, but it was a very comfortable experience.

GGuest UserThe facilities are quite new and very clean, the environment is excellent, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich. There's a lovely rooftop terrace with a great vibe. The service is fantastic, they offer complimentary fruit, and even a Hanfu experience. The room also had a copy of ”Qian's Family Instructions,” which is a thoughtful touch. Thumbs up!👍

JJessie Ly Doan 丽丽The hotel just opened in 2024, so everything is still very new. The reception is on the top floor (27th), along with the restaurant, gym, and laundry room. My room was decorated in a B-Duck theme. It was super spacious and even had toys inside, which my child really enjoyed. Everything was cute and carefully arranged. I was surprised to see a Dyson hair dryer in the bathroom! The breakfast buffet was delicious and had more variety than other hotels I’ve stayed at recently. I especially liked the instant coffee packets – very convenient, and not many hotels offer that. There’s a free laundry and drying service, and they even folded the clothes and delivered them to the room after drying. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also in a very convenient area, close to a supermarket and lots of good restaurants. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to Qufu.

KKenneth UHad a fantastic stay! The location is a huge plus, very close to shopping areas and attractions, making it super convenient for exploring and dining without detours. Room facilities are well-maintained; the TV picture quality was clear, Wi-Fi signal was stable, and there were plenty of charging outlets – thoughtful details. The service was incredibly warm; they proactively helped with luggage during check-in and even provided helpful tips for local sightseeing. Any requests were handled quickly. Cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, odor-free, and had a great wet/dry separation. For this price, the experience was outstanding – excellent value for money. Highly recommend to anyone planning a trip!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to the Confucius Temple and Mansion. The ambiance is wonderful, with ancient-style Chinese architecture throughout. Both the rooms and public areas are very well-designed. The courtyard room has a large private courtyard, perfect for relaxing. The hotel service is outstanding. They contacted us a day in advance and even prepared children's toiletries and a step stool. Any issues we had were immediately addressed. On our last day, they even allowed us a late check-out because our child was asleep – so thoughtful! We ordered a few signature dishes at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and the taste was great. Although it's a bit pricey, there's really nothing else to fault. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

YYingziOur two-night stay at the Shangri-La Qufu truly showed us that a great hotel is a captivating part of the journey itself. The warmth began the moment we arrived at Qufu East Station with the pick-up service. I had casually inquired about transportation when booking, and to my surprise, the hotel had already made all the arrangements. This thoughtful gesture instantly melted away our travel fatigue. The hotel's location is conveniently close to several attractions, and they offer dedicated shuttle services to these spots, which is particularly great for seniors and families with children. The check-in experience was full of pleasant surprises. The front desk upgraded our room, and as I opened the door, my eyes lit up: the spacious room directly faced the ancient city's central axis, with a picturesque view of flying eaves, dark tiles, and lush ancient cypresses outside the window. At dawn and dusk, you can even watch the changing light and shadows on the buildings in the distance. The hotel's decor is cozy and elegant, and the cleanliness details are impeccable: the bedding was pristine and crisp, the bathroom sparkled without a blemish, and even the remote control was neatly encased in a plastic bag. The service is truly this hotel's most impressive calling card; everyone wears a genuine smile, perfectly embodying the Confucian virtues of 'gentleness, kindness, courtesy, frugality, and humility.' In Qufu, understanding Confucius requires a slow walk and quiet observation; at Shangri-La Qufu, everything is just right. If you're planning a trip to Qufu, consider this your home away from home – it's more than just accommodation, it's a place to experience Confucian charm and find peace for your mind and body.

MMalidaThe room was very satisfactory! Especially for breakfast, we could eat sweet potatoes from Sishui, which were really delicious. They were the best sweet potatoes I have ever eaten in my life, sweet and sticky. In the evening, the hotel not only provided fruits, but also provided some longan and white fungus health porridge. Although I was afraid of getting fat, I couldn't resist the temptation and ate it.

GGuest UserAfter scouring Trip.com, I found this hotel with incredible value for money! I stayed here for all five nights in Qufu, and it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. I had checked out a few other places before deciding on this one. The accommodations are fantastic. There's a beautiful, well-lit courtyard in the center, and sunlight streams into the bedroom as soon as you open the door. The bedding was very clean, and I especially appreciated the excellent drinking water setup. The room has a direct-drinking dispenser that provides boiling water in three seconds, so no worries about kettle hygiene. The soundproofing in the bedroom is great, and even the curtains are double-layered, which is super friendly for those sensitive to light. I also highly recommend booking a room with a small balcony! It doesn't cost much more, and the room is huge, the bed is super big, and it even has a projector! For the same price, staying here is simply amazing! When you don't feel like going out, you can head to the bar and lounge area downstairs. They have billiards, karaoke, board games, and you can grab a drink – they have it all. According to the owner, the hostel has been operating for many years, and he even showed me a thick guestbook. If you're interested, you can flip through it and leave your own message. On the first day of my check-in, a kind front desk lady assisted me, and the owner helped me with my luggage. The overall stay was superb, and the hotel staff are very friendly. You can tell the owner if you need anything. If I get a chance to visit Qufu again, I'll definitely stay here! Regarding the location: Yan Temple is right across the street, making it one of the three closest hotels. To get to the snack street or Confucius Temple, you just need to scan a shared bike at the entrance, and you're there!

GGuest UserMandarin speaking staff only. Almost at the door step of Confucius temple which was what we wanted. We were dropped off at the rear entrance of the motel which is the car park. The ground of the car park is in need of repair and we were worried by its look. We wonder what we had booked. The front of the hotel or main entrance was OK though. Reception was modern and simple. There is a wall at the back of reception that layout all the town's attractions with its respective distances; very handy. Room is a standard mid grade motel room, clean and functional. Room amenities is controlled from a small phone like screen next to bedhead. Swipe to reveal function like air conditioning. Heated and self flushing toilet for a motel; unheard of! Tried the buffet breakfast once, never again. The dumpling cafe which is diagonally opposite the rear entrance across the car park is excellent value. Nearest shopping centre is about 1km walk from motel.
