"The beds are bunk beds with wooden slats, and both the beds and room are quite small. If you open the window, you might get some bugs. You also have to put on the duvet cover yourself. The hostel is on the 3rd floor, and there's no elevator, so if you have a large suitcase, it might be a bit strenuous to carry it up. However, overall it's still very good, and the atmosphere is excellent. If you're just passing through Kangding for a night and plan to catch a bus the next day, I highly recommend this place. The bus station is right downstairs. I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit."

"Nice budget room to stay near everything. About 10min walking from the bus station, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The host was nice and they meet us in the street because it is hard to find by yourself when you arrive. The bed was comfortable and there is a heating blanket. The shower temperature was a bit unstable though, and the room was very humid."

The hotel owner is very kind and even arranged for someone to help us park. He was very welcoming and easy to communicate with, telling us that there's a special card for electricity in the room and we shouldn't touch it, as the room will always be warm and cozy when we return. The hotel is right by the roadside and very easy to find. The price is excellent value for money, and they even provide free breakfast. I highly recommend it!"

It took us some time to find the place since there’s no “Mercury Hotel” sign anywhere, but showing the booking text to a local helped—they even found an English speaker for us. If you’re booking here, just note that the entrance is at the back of the building, not on the main street. It’s a small entrance."

"What a gem of a place! The owner is incredibly warm and thoughtful. They helped us park and carry our luggage to the room, which was spotlessly clean. We could even see the snow-capped mountains right from our door. The ******* and Sichuan food recommended by the owner was absolutely delicious. "I never write reviews. This B&B is really worth staying in again in Xiduqiao. The uncle boss was super nice. He helped us with our luggage and gave us butter tea. The room is very big, the facilities are complete and very clean. It's a great value to stay in this room. At this price, I even think it's too cheap compared to other famous hotels. And it's very quiet when sleeping at night. It's super quiet. You can see a temple when you open the window. That’s a big thumbs up~"

"I absolutely loved this hotel! Overall, it's incredible value for money; other hotels of the same quality would definitely cost more. I especially appreciated the concierge, she was very attentive and her service was outstanding. The hotel's complimentary toiletries were also a nice touch. Each room has a free oxygen concentrator, which is a great bonus. The entire hotel is surrounded by grasslands; you can open your curtains and immediately see the prairies and snow-capped mountains – exactly what I was looking for. The restaurant is beautiful for photos, especially during the 'blue hour' in the afternoon, it's absolutely stunning! The manor below is also very picturesque for photos. I will definitely recommend this to my friends."

This hotel is located off the main road, requiring a short drive on a dirt path up a hill. On clear days, you can enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Since I was traveling alone, the hotel thoughtfully adjusted the hotpot portion to suit one person — which I really appreciated — and it was absolutely delicious. Every room offers a view of the snowy mountains. The in-room amenities are of high quality, the room is cozy and comfortably warm, and the size is just right — not too big or small. My favorite part, though, was the hotel’s common area, especially during sunset when the snow mountains turn red. The staff even invited me to step outside and take photos, which was so sweet of them. The next morning, I had to leave early, but breakfast normally starts late. Still, the staff kindly prepared an early breakfast just for me. Overall, the service mindset here is truly impressive, and the hotel’s common area is stunning — a paradise for photography lovers, with countless beautiful spots for pictures.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and true to the culture in the area. The room was spacious and clean with cozy heating. Breakfast was also delicious The owner lady was very sweet and accommodating for us although we hardly speak any Chinese. I recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to Tagong Grasslands.

The hotel is located in an alley opposite Liuliu City, with its own parking lot and, most importantly, charging stations. Although it's slow charging, it's very convenient for us electric vehicle owners. The receptionist was handsome, enthusiastic, and provided excellent service. From the first floor alone, you can tell the hotel owner has a sophisticated style. Unfortunately, the coffee machine wasn't working, even after asking twice. If it were available for guests, it would be amazing. The hotel facilities are all quite good, even thoughtfully providing a makeup mirror. However, the room doors are really heavy and difficult to close. The TV casting software is fantastic—stable and without dropouts. In short, I didn't get enough of Kangding; I'll definitely come back. One last thing: the traffic police officers in Kangding are really tall and handsome! 🥰🥰

Excellent. The room was clean, and the service was good. Oxygen was available 24 hours a day and could be diffused. The location was very convenient, just a two-minute walk to Tagong Monastery! There were various shops and restaurants nearby. The facilities were new, and the shower even had an overhead shower (although you can't shower for the first few days after arriving at high altitude).

The lady boss was very welcoming. I suggest you contact the boss in advance because the parking lot is in another place to avoid the difficulty of turning around due to the heavy traffic. The parking lot is close to the hotel on foot. The bed sheets and quilts have a faint scent of laundry detergent. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo. It's pretty good. The standard room for a family of four is still OK. It's not far from Love Song Square and Liuliu City, and you can walk there.

This trip was a last-minute decision with friends. We chose this hotel because of its excellent location right in the city center, surrounded by plenty of food options. At night, we could enjoy the stunning view of the Zhedo River and the square where people were doing Guozhuang dance from our room's window. Although the room's decor wasn't brand new, it was impeccably clean, which didn't detract from our experience at all. However, it gets really cold in Kangding during winter! It even snowed on the night we arrived. So, for anyone planning to visit, definitely remember to pack warm clothes.

The academy has complete facilities. There is a bookstore and cafe in the hotel with a good atmosphere. You can drink tea, coffee and read books. The staff provide good service. After comparing several hotels, I chose Kangsheng. This hotel has a very high cost performance. It is located on the pedestrian street on the left side of Liuliu. There is someone to meet you at the door. The environment is good and it is not noisy at night. The photos seen on the website are the same as the actual ones, and the hygiene conditions are also very good.

Such a good place in the heart of Tagong! Very clean and the owner is an amazing person! I booked a double room but he offered me a free upgrade to a bigger room. He also helped me book a bus and came all the way with me to the bus station to make sure I board the right bus. I really recommend this place!
