"I had read some negative reviews, but I cannot agree with them. The hotel is very centrally located between the train station and the castle. It is a little old, yes, but that has its advantages: In our room (202) there were two suitcase racks and enough hangers and hooks, plus a wardrobe, desk and shelf. The bed was very wide, with old-fashioned but practical reading lights. You don't often find that in modern design hotels. The windows and floor were new. There were also a few modern elements in the foyer that combined well with the old charm. The breakfast was really great. The large, high, airy room (former restaurant) was pleasant. Where else can you find fresh, white, clean tablecloths for breakfast?"

"Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich bin für zwei Nächte hier im Hotel eingebucht , Zimmer 26. Es ist schön und ausreichend für einen kurzen Besuch. Zu wünschen übrig lässt allerdings das Bett. Die Wände sind mehr als hinüber, da besteht dringender Handlungsbedarf. Es gruselt einen dort zu schlafen. Der Fernseher funktionierte leider auch nicht und als ich mich in den Sessel setzte, stach ich mich an einem 8 cm langen Nagel, der dort vergessen wurde. Den Nagel hat dann der Hausmeister mitgenommen, als er die Batterien der Fernbedienung tauschte. Ansonsten ist das Zimmer modern eingerichtet."

"Check-in at Hotel Post was relatively easy and straightforward, making the process pleasant. However, the staff didn't seem particularly professional during my stay, which somewhat marred the overall impression. Unfortunately, the rooms don't have air conditioning, which can be especially unpleasant during the warmer months. Furthermore, the rooms have become somewhat run-down and could use a renovation. The hotel's biggest advantage is undoubtedly its perfect location in the center of Aschaffenburg. This was precisely the main reason I chose this hotel. However, those who value comfort and modern standards will likely be disappointed."
