"Fair & Honest.   Negatives - 1) room (single with double bed) too small. 2) bar staff (gent) too cocky let the team down 3) no comeback when they checked my room out for cigarette smoke (from designated outside smoking area).    Positives -1) entertainment 1st class 2) all staff have obviously been well trained on how to respect customers.  3) very friendly holiday makers hotel  4) location"

"We have stayed several times at the imperial, this time we upgraded to a double bed suite with sea view at a cost of £160 on a two night stay. Sadly the suite (Churchill Suite) didn’t meet expectations. In very urgent need of repair and decoration, windows in lounge area filled with silicone with huge gaps and letting cold in. Supposed to be able to open but all siliconed together. The quadrant shower leaked onto the floor from the tray and waste. We removed the wast cap to see if that helped, sadly it just revealed a disgusting black gunge inside the waste that had not been cleaned for a long time. Didn’t use the drawers in the bedroom, not clean. General cleanliness will be difficult to achieve due to the delapadated state of the suite as a whole including fixtures and fittings. I think Mr Churchill who resides in many picture forms on the walls within the suite would be most upset with the conditions. Even the window drapes had fittings missing making it difficult to close curtains. On a positive note, the breakfast is excellent, I hope that things can be improved at the imperial and we will hope to hear about any planned updates to this 4**** hotel so that once again we can enjoy a break there?"

"Fabulous stay at the Best Western Carlton in Blackpool. The staff could not have done more to help, and the lady on the front desk was so friendly and chatty. They helped immediately when they realised I had a pram, toddler and 2 bags and was alone - even changing our room to make things easier. Lovely people! Only downside was the thin walls, meaning we could hear every word of the 4am argument in the room next door!!"

"Price affordable, breakfast is very good , room is ok a bit outdated, but still a good choice in Blackpool , usually we will come back each year , next time will stay at same hotel ."

"last Visit to this Hotel was 45 years ago, some modernisation including new carpets nice touch, warm greetings from some staff, some just ignoor you , Had Breakfast one day was overpriced at £12 the lady runing the restaurnant was brilliant , kept an eye on everything topping up what needed to be topped up , problem with lift not going to all floors they say its due to waiting for a part, I visited a Liverpool Britannia Hotel they made same excuse for years, just get it sorted . On the trip website it says Breakfast between 7 and 9 , its now 8 and 10, also said No Children, after noticing some I asked at reception, they said that was only for a year a while ago . When booking I did ask as bein g a big person, could I have a Shower or Access room , it doid say only of available , but nothing done or said when booking, It was nice to visit the place again but sadly there are better hotels in Blackpool not much more money, so guess wont be Visiting again for anoher 45 years, some guets I spoke to hd to see 3 or 4rooms to find one that was clean and suitable"

"I booked this place over the Easter weekend, purely based on the fact it was two thirds cheaper than the chain hotels which were nearby. The hotel is located a 2 minute walk away from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It is also a 1 minute walk away from the nearest Wetherspoons pub, South Pier & Sandcastle Leisure Centre...along with some nice local cafes, (Rendezvous), and cheaper end shops, sticks of rock were nearly half the price this end of the seafront. My expectations were low for this hotel, I've stayed in the area before and knew I wasn't booking 5 star. I was pleasantly surprised. We were met at the door promptly and greeted. What I first noticed was the electronic security lock on the door and on all rooms. The entrance was spotless and there were no funny smells of damp etc. The hotel was warm from top to bottom. We visited during storm Dave...so that leads on to our room. I booked a family room with 1 double and 2 single beds. We were given a double and a bunk bed, this wasn't a massive issue as my 2 children, who were older, agreed to make the best of what we had. I never complained as we were only here for 2 days. We had 2 separate rooms that were both en-suite with a toilet, sink and shower. They were fully stocked with toilet rolls, body wash/shampoo and hand wash, which was a nice touch. The beds were clean, the covers/pillows were basic, but again clean. The double bed was super comfortable,, the bunk beds were a good size, but probably could have done with an extra couple of pillows. All the heaters worked a treat and we were never cold for a minute, in fact the rooms heated nicely. We had tea, coffee & water in the room for our use too! There wasn't a view from the windows, but who cared, we were there for the rides, amusements and shopping. The hotel is located as stated near the Pleasure Beach, for high street shopping, you can either take a nice walk, which would be over half an hour or get a tram or taxi. We got Uber, which was around £6 each way from the hotel to Primark or Wendy's. That's right near Treasure Island and the Tower. I really can't fault this place, it was quiet, the host was always about and extremely helpful and the price was the best we were getting on an Easter weekend. Yes there were other guests here, no you couldn't hear every voice and or footstep. If you're on a budget or just want somewhere clean, tidy and warm, give this place a go. I took the pictures fairly hastily, the room was extremely tidy at the time we checked in. The pictures I took were at check out."

"My daughter and I stayed here overnight while she was attending a dance competition. The hotel was lovely. We were greeted with a smile by the owner, who was friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We had a spacious, sea view room. It was clean, large enough to sleep 5. The bed was very comfortable. We had plenty of hot drink supplies. The toiletries provided were fantastic. Very happy with the price and would be happy to return in the future. Thank you Vinnie's, it's been great."

"I've no idea why this place has outstanding reviews it is very basic for the price There is no reception and no answer from the number given we were just about to cancel and find somewhere else when someone turned up with a key ...on a plus side room and bed was clean and tidy... ok if you want to do nothing more than get your head down for the night"

"The Hotel located right next to the Railway Station was a brilliant factor in our booking this Hotel, Within minutes we were booking in at a very friendly reception the whole thing took only a few minutes  The room was great very clean and airy,the walk walk in shower /wet room was brilliant. Breakfast was great good selection of food and drinks supported by very friendly staff could not ask for more  We will be going back again, every thing we needed for our shot 3 night stay ."
