"I recently stayed at the Palace Hotel & Spa in Buxton and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was excellent, with friendly, professional, and attentive staff who made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Every member of the team was helpful and eager to ensure that everything was perfect. The hotel facilities were impressive. The spa and leisure areas were clean, relaxing, and well maintained, providing the perfect place to unwind. The hotel itself is beautiful, with comfortable rooms and a pleasant atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was also outstanding. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, all fresh and delicious, and the meals served throughout my stay were of a high standard. The restaurant staff were attentive, and the dining experience was excellent. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the Palace Hotel & Spa to anyone visiting Buxton. The combination of exceptional service, excellent facilities, and delicious food made for a memorable and enjoyable visit. I look forward to returning in the future."

"Best Western Plus Buxton Hotel Stayed here for one night during my Peak District trip. The hotel is very well located, right in the centre of Buxton and close to the Pavilion Gardens, bus stops, and walking routes. The room was clean, comfortable, and warm — perfect after a long day of hiking. Staff were polite and helpful, and the overall experience was smooth and hassle-free. A solid choice if you’re exploring Buxton and the Peak District using public transport."

"Nice clean modern hotel, near enough to the centre of town but the wrong side of town having said that the amenities at the hotel included air conditioning which was most welcome in the hot weather"

"The room (No.3) is excellent in its appointment. This has been tastefully modernised. Five stars for the room and its furniture. However… I was warned that weekends can be ‘noisy’ That is putting it mildly. I stayed for Friday night and Saturday night. The room faces onto the busy main road. Bars aroubd pulsed loud music into the wee small hours. It cannot be described as ‘restful’. In fairness I was warned by the owner. Perhaps Sunday night and mid-week nights are better. I would have given 5 stars throughout but have marked down location and amenities to reflect the noise."

"Stayed at the Queen's Head hotel over the weekend due to attending a concert at Buxton Opera House. We were really well looked after and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean , warm and welcoming. Whilst there is no on-site parking, there is parking in the market place only a minutes walk away which was easy to access. Thank you for an enjoyable stay."
