"I had a wonderful stay at Loccal Collection Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The check-in process was smooth, and the hospitality throughout my stay made me feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in both the room amenities and housekeeping. The hotel’s location is also a great advantage, making it convenient to explore nearby attractions while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were well maintained, and the overall ambience was stylish and relaxing. What stood out the most was the excellent service from the entire team. Their friendliness and professionalism truly enhanced my experience. I highly recommend Loccal Collection Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable stay. "An absolutely fantastic 3 night stay. It feels like Santorini! Comfy clean and quiet rooms, amazing shower and toilet amenities, refreshing swimming pool, decent gym and excellent food options. The staff were all superb too. With excellent value for money. Would highly recommend!"

"Overall, it was decent. There's a small beach right in front of the hotel. The main issue is that it's hard to get a car; Grab only offers motorbikes. To get a taxi, you need to find local drivers and add them on WeChat. Basic fares start at 40 yuan per trip. Labuan Bajo isn't a very big town, so if you're adventurous, you could rent a motorbike yourself. They do pick you up and drop you off at the hotel for trips to Komodo. Breakfast was okay, but since we were out exploring all day and just went to the pier for late-night snacks and walks in the evening, we really just used the hotel to sleep, so we didn't have high expectations. Oh, and Komodo is truly beautiful!"

"I booked a Peak View Premium Room, but it turned out to be on the first floor. When I opened the window, all I saw was a wall. I checked, and the sea view room was only a few tens of yuan more expensive, but it was a beach cabin. I really got a raw deal (bloody loss). I arrived at the hotel around 9 am and asked if I could check in early, perhaps at 12 pm, if the room was clean. I was told 'no, no, no,' and that I had to wait until exactly 2 pm. I was waiting for the welcome drink on the beach. The redemption card showed it could be used from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. At 11 am, when I asked, they said the restaurant was being cleaned and I had to wait. My companion and I were lying on the beach chairs, and no one came to offer us even a single towel, yet all the Caucasians on the adjacent chairs had towels. 🤷 My friend also asked how much it would cost to get a ride to the city. They said 100,000 Indonesian Rupiah (39 RMB) for a one-way trip. So, they dropped my friend off in the city. When it was time for them to return to the hotel, they couldn't be reached. The hotel kept ignoring messages, leaving them hanging. In the end, with no other option, they had to take a motorcycle taxi in a torrential downpour, speeding back on mountain roads. 👍"

"First off, I want to say that the hotel staff and front desk were all incredibly friendly and helpful. A big shout-out to their breakfast take-away service, which is a lifesaver for anyone planning a day trip out to sea! If you know you won't have time for breakfast, you can arrange the take-away service with the front desk in advance. The hotel's breakfast runs from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, but most day tours to sea leave around 6 AM. I've attached the take-away menu for reference. The hotel itself is very new and super close to the airport, about a 10-minute walk. They also offer airport shuttle service, but remember to email them in advance to book your pick-up. Just a heads-up, avoid emailing on weekends – I did, and the hotel missed my email, so I ended up dragging my heavy suitcase to the hotel, which was a real drag. Also, the rooms don't have openable windows; they have sealed glass floor-to-ceiling windows. This means no smoking in the room, and ventilation isn't the best. Since it's a new hotel, there's still a slight 'new hotel smell,' so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to that. However, since I was usually out at sea all day and only in the room at night, I wasn't really 'holed up' in the hotel, so it was perfectly acceptable. I was just happy that everything was new and clean, haha!"

"Best parts: ocean view rooms have a stunning view, and the balcony was lovely to sit and admire the view. Breakfast buffet was very solid, and the availability of packed breakfast boxes for day trips is very nice. Free airport shuttle was much appreciated. Worst parts: price is quite high for the area and the bathroom especially didn't meet the price expectations. No actual soap/hand soap, shower wasn't super nice, although it was clean. Other notes: it's about a 20-minute walk to the centre of the main strip. Great to be away from the main area and I was happy to walk to and from the main strip as needed, otherwise I guess taxis can be used. The photo attached is the view from a room on the top floor. At time of my stay there are big construction areas around the property but I didn't have any noise inconveniences during my time."

"This hotel is really great. The location is very close to the airport; a taxi to the hotel cost 70K IDR, and to the airport was 75K. It's not far from the main street, just a ten-minute walk downhill. The best part about this hotel is definitely the rooftop restaurant. Eating breakfast while enjoying the sea view was wonderful, and in the evenings, you can see spectacular fiery sunsets."

"Aside from the hot water not being very convenient, everything else was great (it took about 20 minutes for two people to shower). The air conditioning, beds, and environment were all decent, and it only cost a little over 300 yuan per person (we were a group of four). It was also very quiet. Highly recommended!!! There weren't many reviews on Airbnb and Ctrip, so I was quite worried before going, but I was pleasantly surprised, hahaha."

"Staying at Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo was an absolute delight. Despite being a relatively new property, having opened about a year and a half ago, it runs with the precision and grace of a seasoned resort. The warmth and hospitality of the staff were unmatched from the moment I arrived, and I must give a special compliment to the efficient and helpful luggage service. The security team, the front desk personnel, and the F&B team were all incredibly proactive and obliging, making sure I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout my stay. Special mention to the front desk staff who were very helpful with our queries, reservations and check-out: Denal and Amelia 😊👋 I also want to highly compliment the day tour I took, which covered six different destinations. It was a perfect crash course of the entire national park and was well worth the money. I highly recommend anyone staying here to take up that one-day tour for an unforgettable experience seeing the dragons up close, frolicking on pink sands, snorkeling with turtles and manta rays and basking on a Bank crescent sandbank surrounded by crystal blue waters. While the breakfast variety was impressive and the chefs did a fantastic job keeping dishes stocked, the coffee/tea service was prompt...there is a small room for improvement in plate clearance. Being a bit more attentive to clearing used plates would certainly elevate the dining experience even further. Adding to that, we noticed that salt and pepper cruets weren't always consistently placed on every table, so ensuring those are readily available would be a great way to enhance convenience for guests. Additionally, Katamaran could significantly boost its appeal by offering complimentary access to its aquatic sports amenities, such as paddle boats, water bikes, and kayaking. We realized the free activities were not as popular though. Overall, with stunning views, excellent warm personalized service, I would highly recommend this hotel and will not hesitate to stay here again."

"The location is fantastic, right next to the pier, making it super convenient for island hopping. The rooms are clean and tidy, and all the staff are young, friendly, and very attentive. I highly recommend the sea view rooms – the large balcony offers breathtaking ocean sunsets. The rooftop restaurant serves delicious food with stunning panoramic views of the pier and surrounding mountains. Dining there at sunset creates an amazing atmosphere! I accidentally left cash behind when checking out, and the hotel proactively helped me wire it back. Their integrity and service are both top-notch. This is my top choice for a trip to Komodo!"
