"Lovely rooms clean and well laid out We had two issues - the hotel has a bar and had a number of wines and sujo on the menu but had none of any. These are essential for tourists at this type of hotel At breakfast we ordered coffee  It was so slow coming that we had to leave before it arrived  Which was very disappointing as I like coffee with my breakfast The breakfast selection was good"

"Recommend to stay at Truntum Hotel while you are in Padang, West Sumatera Indonesia. Although we had only a few hours at the hotel due to major traffic accident on Solok - Padang road, we were happy on the room cleanliness, good buffet breakfast, wide amenities and excellent front desk customer service eventhough we checked in after midnight. "This hotel is so-so with enough size of bathroom. The only one shocked me is when I need to wait as waiting list for check-in by leaving my ID and booking to receptionist then sit on the waiting area, this even happening on check-out. The coridor is ”smokey” stink. May be guests allowed to smoke here, but this is very disturbing for me and family that asked for non-smoking room. Other than this, everything is just good."

The room is very clean and its very near to Masjid Al Hakim. Only 5mins walking distance to the beach too. The toilet also clean and they also provide water dispenser, so no hustle to worry to buy mineral water together with the iron (upon request). I also used the laundry service which is very good and the price also quite cheap. I went during Ramadan, hence anyone who want to discover Padang during Ramadan, i would really recommend to stay at this hotel!

Good location and helpful concierge staffs. Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t attentive enough to facilitate our request of double bed for all 4 rooms booked about a month prior to our arrival. 3 out of 4 rooms were without hot shower which annoyed us a lot. The room I stayed (#552) shares the same balcony with the next room and surprisingly the balcony door can’t be locked. Very loud music from the rooftop bar was also very annoying. Breakfast was not impressive and staff not attentive enough to replenish drinking glass for the fruit juices. Will choose other hotel whenever I visit Padang on the future.

The hotel’s location is definitely a plus—it’s close to the sea, which offers easy access to the beach. The receptionist was very welcoming and made check-in smooth, but unfortunately we weren’t allowed to check in early. However, the cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. The room didn’t feel properly cleaned, and the amenities are clearly outdated and in need of renovation. While the staff’s attitude was great, the overall condition of the hotel falls short of expectations.

It was a nice play to stay. Really strategic place because at the town. About food you can easily get near this place. Many food like lontong, teh telur, lakitang. Comfortable place to stay because have many things their provide such as transport to attraction place, air conditioner at the lobby. Thanks for the trip recommend to stay at this hotel, also get the nice voucher to use . I love you all so much. Will come again to padang. Nice view near beach, and cold
