"I do not recommend going to Palermo at all. All hotels at the beach there are old((and this hotel too. I haven't rested in such old hotels for a long time. I loved my time in Sicily and staying at this beautiful hotel was a cherry on top. The service staff was kind, we had early flight but they still made sure we had breakfast which was really lovely. all restaurants and shops are in few minutes walk from the hotel."
