"My English isn't great, but the male manager at the front desk spoke the clearest English I heard on this trip! His pace wasn't too fast either, and he was very enthusiastic and friendly, even cracking a few jokes. He really brightened my day. The triple room was also very large and spacious, and came with slippers. However, the hotel's breakfast box was a bit disappointing. It was just pre-packaged snacks and such, very basic. For those catching an early flight who won't have time to eat breakfast at the hotel, I'd suggest not booking a room with breakfast included. It's not worth the price; you're better off getting something at the airport."

"This hotel is close to Termini Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. **Accessibility:** It's a 6-minute walk from the station, making it easy to get to the Vatican and Colosseum. **Service:** The staff were friendly, but I had booked a twin room and was initially given a double. I had to go to the front desk to get it changed. **Cleanliness:** Everything was satisfactory, including the bed sheets. **Facilities:** The room itself was decent, but the shower stall was too small, making it difficult to move around. Also, the showerhead was facing the wrong direction."

"I stayed for three nights, and the quality was surprisingly good. The staff were friendly and responsive. The room was a bit small but well-organized, and the bedding was comfortable and cleaned daily. Despite facing the street, it was very quiet at night. The surrounding area offers extremely convenient transportation and dining options. Termini Central Station is just 200 meters away, making both subway and train travel easy. There's also an airport shuttle bus next door for €9, while the train costs €15. "The room is very new, there are some, but there is a new decoration taste, the street needs to close the window to sleep at night, so it will be very stuffy, it feels like a common problem of Rome accommodation. The location is very good, it is very close to everywhere, it is safe nearby, close to Plaza de España and many shopping streets. During the stay, the new room was renovated and it was quite noisy. The soundproofing of the sleeping room itself is quite good at night."

"We have read so many reviews about this hotel some good some not that great. At the end I would like to say that forvthe money value and the location the hotel is great. The staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel inside is very antique I would say. The rooms are clean yes there are some imperfections but you dont come to Rome to stay all day in the room but to see the city. So my opinion its with it. Its literally 2 min walk from Train station Termini. If yiu want to have a good breakfast 4 min walk from the hotel there is a cafe washington. Amazing staff and quality of breakfast. If you want to have good quality of great pizza there is in a distance of 4 min walk restaurant Llangollen di Napoli. The staff is amazing and yhe food is great. "Being so close to Termini Station was definitely the right choice, especially arriving in Rome in the evening for a self-guided trip. The airport shuttle stops right opposite the hotel entrance. Despite its central location, it wasn't noisy at all; in fact, I found it incredibly convenient for getting around. With a multi-day metro and bus pass, I could explore all of Rome and easily pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever needed. The breakfast was plentiful. While it wasn't a huge spread of meat and heavy dishes, it was healthy and nutritious, offering self-serve fresh squeezed juice, and a good variety of breads and pastries that changed daily. The restaurant staff were also excellent."

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bedding – sheets, duvet covers, and pillows – was equally pleasant. It's conveniently located very close to the Vatican, with a taxi ride costing only 20 Euros. Each room comes with a balcony, and the air quality was quite good. However, the room temperature wasn't individually adjustable. It was 28°C (82°F) during our summer stay, and it got so hot that we had to wait until after 9 AM the following day for someone from maintenance to adjust it. There's a pool downstairs which seemed quite clean, but access isn't direct; you need to pick up a pass from the front desk first.

The soundproofing wasn't great. Upon arrival, renovations were still ongoing, and to my dismay, the front desk assigned me a room on a renovation floor. It was a really bad experience. After complaining to the front desk, they reluctantly moved me to a floor below the renovation, but my impression was already quite negative!

Arrived at the hotel past midnight on the first day and was given a noisy room, 402 – remember that number! It felt like I'd walked into a magnetic field. There was a huge boiler right below the room, making noise all night long, so I couldn't sleep at all. The city tax was also super expensive: 6 euros for one person, 12 euros for two. Breakfast wasn't great either; all the dishes were cold, even the eggs. The only upside is its proximity to the central station, about a 15-minute walk.

I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was disappointing due to a series of overlooked details and frustrating issues. To start with the good—the staff were great: friendly, helpful, and informative. They made an effort to assist whenever asked, and that hospitality was appreciated. The location was decent, about a 30-minute bus ride to the city center. It’s not exactly central, but manageable if you’re okay with the commute. The room was reasonably clean upon arrival, but the quality of housekeeping declined quickly. A lotion stain I accidentally left on the shower floor was never cleaned, and instead of actually scrubbing the area, housekeeping simply placed a mat over it—as if to hide it. Initially, the room came stocked with two sets of towels, but after the first day, only one of each was replaced. While the booking was for one person, maintaining the original quantity would have shown a bit more care and consistency. There were several small inconveniences that added up. For example, the room phone had no directory, so I had no idea how to contact the front desk or reach any services. On top of that, the air conditioning didn’t work for the first two days, which turned out to be because the previous guest had asked for it to be turned off, and it was never reset. It took me that long to realize I had to ask the concierge to enable it again. In a properly managed hotel, the AC should be reset and ready for the next guest without needing to make a request. The continental breakfast was another letdown. The scrambled eggs were dry, lumpy, and had a strange grey tint. The bacon and sausages were cold, and orange juice was served in plastic cups. There was very little fresh fruit, and to top it off, they had a random speaker on the floor playing radio ads during breakfast—a strange and unpleasant ambiance for a morning meal. I’m glad I didn’t pay for breakfast for my entire stay, because it definitely wasn’t worth it. The Wi-Fi was by far the worst I’ve encountered in any hotel. It disconnected constantly and, when connected, barely reached speeds of 5 Mbps. For a hotel in a tourist-heavy area, this is unacceptable and suggests a clear lack of awareness of guest needs—especially for travelers who rely on Wi-Fi to plan outings or stay in touch. Noise was another major issue. The elevator makes a blaring siren-like noise when it opens, which woke me up every single morning. The walls and doors are paper-thin, making it easy to hear people walking or talking outside, and the doors slam shut loudly, adding to the disturbance. Finally, while not the hotel’s fault, there were a few homeless individuals living around the property, which might make some guests feel uneasy, particularly at night. All in all, while the staff were excellent and the location worked, there were just too many frustrating and avoidable issues—poor housekeeping, unusable Wi-Fi, subpar breakfast, noise problems, and a lack of attention to guest experience basics. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the hotel makes significant improvements across the board.

Well, the village provides really clean and private houses for very affordable price. ***For everyone thinking about staying here, please mind that this place is very very far from the city, 2 bus line come & go to the city and if you miss one in the morning it has gap of 1 hour so might take so long for the next one.

TLTR: This is not a 4 star hotel. The location is great, but literally everything else is a compromise… Let me start with 2 advantages of this hotel, since it won’t take long. The first is location. You literally take the north exit from Roma Termini to Via Marsala, cross two streets and take a right - and you are there! It’s that simple :) The other advantage is breakfast: it’s the same everyday, but it’s decent, much better than I expected. And now to the disadvantages… First and foremost: there was black mold in the bathroom! Lots of it. Why “lots”? Because the acceptable amount of mold in the bathroom for a 4 start hotel is zero. Second, the bed didn’t have a headboard. Do you know the acceptable number of headboards for a 4 start hotel? You guessed it: at least one :) The bed was actually two beds crammed together (which I don’t mind), but there was no duvet cover! Seriously: there was a sheet to sleep on, a separate sheet to cover yourself, a warm blanket and a sheet to put over it! Needless to say that during the night the sheet that was between the body and the blanket would be carried away. And yeah, all this 3-in-1 construction was tucked under the mattress like the future of Italy depends on it! What the actual ****?! Do you sleep like that at home? I bet you don’t; so, why would you sleep like that in a 4 star hotel?! Thirdly, there were no slippers, no microwave, no ******* table to eat from, no teakettle, no iron, no shower curtain, nothing! What we got was two paper cups in the bathroom and that’s it. 4 star hotel class service, right? It gets better! If we wanted hot water, we had to go downstairs from the 4th floor to get it from a broken *** mid-sized boiler located right next to the reception desk! Dear guests of this 4 star hotel, please don’t mind my wife getting some hot water for her noodles while you check in and pay tourist tax, it’s fine. When in Rome, you know… Fourthly, the quality of everything in the room was not great… to say the least. The walls were dirty, the hair dryer was really bad, the bottom of the bathroom door was broken. What the ****, guys?! Have you heard of amortization of assets or something? Not cool, not cool. I pay the tax, you fix the ******* door, ok? Lastly, my favorite… there was such a big gap under the front door of the room that everything that was happening on the hotel floor sounded like it was happening in our corridor. I don’t mind people walking past our door, but it really felt like there constantly was a stranger in our room. Couldn’t sleep well because of that. And let me tell you that there was some loud love-making somewhere on the floor… and I felt like a couple was ******* in our corridor! 4 star hotel experience? Not by a bit… All right, let me tell you why I put such a stress on this “4 star hotel” thing. The problem is that in Italy stars in a hotel don’t mean anything! I mean, they mean that the building has a certain amount of facilities, space, etc., but there is no correlation with the quality of staying in a room. Seriously, we stayed in a 3 star hotel in Venice and the room there was much better! To sum it up, this hotel is nice if you need a quick stay next to the railway station… but if you plan to spend more than two days in it… just pick something else if your budget allows. If not: well, you still got the location and the breakfast :) P.S. Cheers to the Asian and the African girls at the reception desk! You are the best :)

The price of this hotel is quite value for money for a very basic stay, especially considering the location near Termini. It includes basic breakfast as well. The room is simple and the facilities are minimal, but acceptable for a short stay in Rome. When we arrived at night, the male receptionist was excellent — very friendly and welcoming. He even reminded us to be careful with our belongings in the area, which we appreciated. However, our experience the next morning was unfortunately the complete opposite. The middle-aged lady at reception was extremely rude and unwelcoming, no hello no god morning, when we walked to the lobby, she rudely asked what is your room number, u need to pay for your dog etc like we are somewhat an intruder. It’s very shocking for a start to the day. The hotel advertises itself as pet-friendly, yet we were repeatedly told what we were not allowed to do — we couldn’t bring our dog near the breakfast area and were given strict instructions in a very unfriendly tone. Our is small dog, we would appreciate that kinder treatment More concerning was the inconsistent and dishonest pet fee. The site clearly states the fee is €11, but she initially tried to charge us €25. Is she trying make some petty cash out of it? After we showed her the site information which clearly says €11, she changed it to €15. When we questioned this, she sarcastically said “Nevermind it’s free” then want us to pay again. We found her attitude very inappropriate and disrespectful. The hotel itself is already very basic, but poor customer service makes the experience much worse. It is disappointing that a hotel would allow such unprofessional and discourteous behaviour at the front desk, as reception is the first impression guests have. While the price may be reasonable, the negative service experience makes it difficult for us to recommend this hotel.
