"The location is great, right in the centre of the American Valley, 5 mins walk to the sunset beach. lots of cafe and restaurants around. They offer free Onsen. The breakfast is quite good. Staff are very friendly. Also got Limousine to the airport. Had a very lovely stay there."

"Stayed for 5 nights for USD$528 as a family with a toddler in Jan 2026. Pros: Good value given its excellent location and made for a good base in Chatan. The waterfront was at our doorstep (stone steps rather than beach) and we got to see the sunset. Stay on a Saturday night and get to see the 8pm fireworks from your room. Lots within short driving range, restaurants and Aeon Chatan. Hotel staff were friendly and amenities were sufficient for our needs. There was a complimentary light breakfast with coffee of extremely diluted juice, along with a tiny pastry heated up. Cons: This was by far the worst hotel bed we’ve slept on. The bed was too soft and caused leg pain for my husband as a result he slept in the sofa bed, which opened into an “n” shape with the top and bottom sinking down. There was also a hard metal rod in the frame. We tried requesting for an extra duvet to make it more comfortable for him and was quoted ¥3000 for it. The room was old and dusty and floor didn’t feel clean and area underneath the bed was dusty. We shifted the bed to make space for the toddler to play and as a result we sneezed all night. The sea view was nice but as we only paid for a mid-level floor, people could easier look in hence we kept our blinds closed most of the time. We asked ourselves if we would ever visit again given the good location and view but sadly we decided no as my husband fell sick often during that stay due to poor sleep."

"The hotel is newly opened, and the facilities are very new and clean. The rooms are large, similar to serviced apartments. You need to ask the staff for tableware. There's a microwave, washer, dryer, induction cooker, and refrigerator—everything you need. There's a large terrace overlooking American Village and the sea. Parking is available, which is very convenient! Although the staff's English isn't very good, they were all happy to help. Because I had a mail package that might not arrive before check-out, they did their best to coordinate with the courier company, and I finally received it when I checked out. I'm very grateful to them!"

"This was our second hotel during our Okinawa trip, and its location was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of American Village, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There's a direct pathway from the hotel to the beach, perfect for watching the sunset. A Lawson convenience store is right below the annex, and all sorts of shops in American Village are nearby. It's lively and beautifully lit up at night. Walking to Aeon Mall takes about 5-8 minutes, which is also very handy. The room itself was really spacious, a stark contrast to the typically smaller rooms on mainland Japan. It even had a small balcony where we could enjoy the sea view. Amenities could be replenished on the first floor. On the tenth floor, there's a lovely communal bath facing the ocean; when I went in the afternoon, I practically had the whole place to myself. Soaking in the bath while watching the sunset was pure bliss. After a good soak, there's a vending machine where you can grab some milk – the perfect accompaniment to a Japanese bath. Breakfast was incredibly extensive, featuring all sorts of local specialties like soba noodles, Yudofu (boiled tofu), and salted pork slices. You could even make your own seafood bowl with various sashimi options available for self-service. We ate so much both days that we could easily skip lunch. If you need to catch a bus to Naha city center or the airport, you can ask the front desk for information and make a reservation. The bus stop isn't directly in front of the hotel anymore, but it's just a 3-5 minute walk. We booked and paid for our tickets a day in advance at the hotel. When it was time to depart, there was staff waiting at the bus stop. For our trip to Asahibashi, it was 900 JPY for an adult, and half price for children who occupy a seat."

"Hands down, this is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Japan. The only minor drawback is its location near American Village, which can make getting around a bit inconvenient if you don't have a car. However, if you're able to rent a car for independent travel, it's absolutely perfect! **Pros:** 1. The balcony was incredibly comfortable. In summer, you can sleep with the balcony doors open, letting the refreshing sea breeze in without needing AC. It really brought back such nostalgic childhood memories. 2. The room itself is very spacious and fully equipped with everything you could need – pots, pans, dishes, a microwave, and even a convenient in-room washer and dryer. A huge plus for families with children! 3. We stayed here for two nights. As we were on a family vacation with our child, we mainly explored American Village and its immediate surroundings. Aeon Mall is just 3.4km away, and there are plenty of fantastic food options nearby, like yakiniku and ramen. I especially recommend the Indian restaurant right next door – it's delicious and really affordable! 4. Our kid was absolutely thrilled, spending an entire morning on the balcony watching fighter jets fly by!"

"My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and it had everything we needed. While it was a bit disappointing that the kitchen lacked cooking supplies (available for an extra 1,000 yen), the overall experience was pleasant. It’s a 10–15 minute walk to American Village, and we appreciated the in-room washer and separate dryer—especially since some of my clothes can’t be machine-dried. Detergent is available downstairs for 50 yen per load. Rooms aren’t cleaned during the stay, but fresh towels are available upon request."

"The reason to go to this hotel is because it is extremely convenient and has a great view. We came here last year, but it was cheaper last year. We were surprised to learn that the car parking is now something you have to pay, which wasn't the case last year. Seems like a very cheap decision on their part considering the hotel is already pretty expensive. Also be prepared, the room will not be the newest or cleanest. It had a bit of mold on the wall around the AC unit, and the walls needed to be repainted and fixed on some parts."

"Located near the sea (no beach) and that's the only good thing about this dated hotel. Consider the ageing room's furniture and toilet without bidet, the price is expensive. Additionally and the worst thing is the overnight parking charge of ¥1000 when there's plenty of empty bays at the nearby parking lot. I wouldn't recommend this hotel except those who want jogging by the sea and with a view."

"The hotel is in an excellent location, in the first row with sea views. The rooms are very spacious. Although it is an old hotel, it still looks very good overall. Some of the furniture is a little old, but it does not affect the quality of the stay. The shower in particular is great. The hotel provides traditional breakfast, which we are a little uncomfortable with. Overall, the CP value is quite high and it will be included in the options for returning."
