First time to Qunma. I originally planned to go to Kuojin Hot Spring and then go to Yixiangbao. I accidentally read a tweet and changed to the Luolexiaduo member hotel. The water hot spring – Xianshouxuan.
I have lived in so many hot spring hotels, Xianshouxuan can be said to be the best service. When I went to the store, I checked-in separately on tea and snacks according to the usual practice. At this time, the waiter took out four pens and five ballpoint pens for you to choose. The ceremony was full. Go to the room, along the way, Basang tried to introduce various facilities in English. Each room has a private open-air hot spring, mini bar soft drinking water for free, and a variety of teas and capsule coffee.
There is a reading room and lounge area in the hotel garden, free drinks and desserts. I went to the reading room for a walk and was ready to leave. The waiter was afraid that I didn't know I could order the order and chased me to the door and asked if I needed a drink.
For dinner, I was arranged in a tree house-like glass room. After the meal, I returned to the room and the bed was laid out, providing different embroidered bedding according to the season. It is worth mentioning that the tea and teapot prepared at night are different from the daytime. Even prepared fruit and supper, pastries in the steamer, set the time, you have to press the start.
There are free drinks in the morning and evening, with juice, milk, tea and various alcohols. If you are interested, you can also observe the stars through telescopes or the southern Alps not far away.
This time, the season was a bit embarrassing, and there was some snow left in the courtyard. If you come in late winter or midsummer, it must be very beautiful. In the snow, the open-air hot springs, think about it, life will be complete~

What impressed me most was the excellent breakfast and dinner! I highly recommend staying at this onsen hotel when visiting Gunma. The main dish for dinner was sukiyaki, which was delicious, and each dish was prepared with great care. The food here is really tasty!
This time, I stayed in a room with a private open-air onsen bath. The onsen quality here is very high; the spring water isn't heated, allowing you to soak while enjoying the view of Mount Tanigawa.
The service was impeccable in every detail, including specially provided pajamas and decaffeinated roasted tea served at night.
The next morning, you can also enjoy complimentary coffee while admiring Mount Tanigawa again.

A pretty decent Onsen. Just that the staff couldn’t speak much English and we had a hard time trying to understand the dinner flow. And the amenities at the onsen bath are quite limited.

If you're a foreigner, a translation tool is essential because the staff don't speak English, or their accent was hard for us to understand. When we couldn't communicate, they seemed annoyed (90% of the staff didn't smile at us). There was an older staff member who was friendly, especially the one handling ski activity bookings. 🤬🤬 Absolutely terrible.
The food was mediocre, not much variety or taste.
The room was clean, and the onsen bathroom with amenities was excellent.
In summary, due to poor communication and the staff's lack of enthusiasm in recommending snow activities, my trip ended in tears 😭😭. I had planned to do many snow activities, but instead, I just walked around, built snowmen, and rolled in the snow.
I won't be coming back here next trip. I'll look for a hotel that's more welcoming to Thais.

The design of the room hotel is very good, the living is very comfortable, there are bus stops and tram stops on the side, and the traffic is very convenient.
The room rate includes breakfast and dinner, it is too salty, there are no convenience stores and restaurants on the side, and I am not used to eating.
If you take a bath, you go to the hot spring on the first floor downstairs to wash. It is very comfortable to wash in the hot spring.

This is my second time here, and it's close to Minakami Station, so it's perfect for a spontaneous solo trip to see the snow. The building is very spacious, but it's well-cleaned and a very clean inn. There are many foreign staff members, but they are well-trained and more friendly and polite than the average Japanese. The dinner and breakfast buffets are delicious, and the hot springs are very good, both in the private baths and the large public baths. I was worried that there would be a lot of foreign group tourists and that it would be noisy, but I got the impression that they were all well-mannered foreign tourists. I would like to come to this inn every year when it snows.

So many little things that make this hotel much better than anything else. The way they show you to your room, the way they put your shoes away and bring them back on your departure date, the way dinner and breakfast is waiting for you at your own private table, the way they let couples share an onsen during quiet hours. My point is - you will feel like a VIP here. The staff and always there, taking care of you in subtle ways, but you never feel watched or intruded on. This kind of invisible service - maybe hard for westerners to understand, but it is excellent. You will feel like you are really being understand and looked after. Highly recommend. Best hotel service I've had in japan in 2 years of living here. Highly recommended.

Our visit to this hotel was perfectly adequate. The traditional setting provided a nice sense of atmosphere, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient.
The onsen facilities themselves were clean and relaxing, meeting our expectations for a hot spring experience. Our room was spacious, but the amenities felt a little dated and could use some refreshment. Dinner and breakfast were included, offering a standard array of Japanese cuisine that was palatable, though not exceptional. The staff were polite. Overall, it's a safe and decent choice if you're looking for a no-frills, standard onsen hotel experience.

Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style, so it was very good that children could choose what they liked.
It was good that all the foods were easy to eat for vegetarians. Above all, the dishes were very delicious and I told my family that I wanted to go again.
The hot springs were very comfortable and the children were happy.
It was also attractive to be able to take a bath for 24 hours.
I definitely want to go again.

Guest UserOverall clean and beautiful. The entrance is up one step, but be careful there because it is OK. There are no restaurants or convenience stores around, and the end bus is early, so those who stay overnight need to consider measures.
