"quaint cottage but the reception is at another location which was not an easy drive cos of the narrow road. the cottage is lovely and spacious with free parking right outside. however if u want PJ you have rent from the reception. Also the bathroom and toilet is tiny. so if u are a big person, you might have some problems. bed was comfortable but only 1 pillow per person."

"Stayed here for one night on our second visit to Naoshima in almost 10 years. The lodge is quite close to the main port, but it’s up on a hill — so if you’re travelling with heavy luggage, the walk up can be a bit of a workout. That said, there’s a luggage delivery service about a 5-minute walk from the port. We paid around ¥2,800 for two large suitcases (pickup and return), which made things much easier. Bike rental was about ¥1,500 per day. The lodge itself is clean and fairly spacious. Being on top of the hill gives you a really nice view over the island and out to the ocean. AC worked well, everything was straightforward, and nothing really went wrong. Simple, comfortable stay. Would consider staying again."

"Near to Miyanoura Port, coming from Uno Port. It is a mere 4 min walk from the port. There is no reception to inform you of the room. So we opened the doors to each building. My name was on a piece of paper near the door/ shoe shelf. If there is someone staying in a building, he/she/ they would have locked the door so no worries. Big clean and nice :)"

"The room is not small, very comfortable, it is an apartment nature, you can cook, the room is not too convenient to be equipped with a microwave oven. The only problem is that this small room is a temporary room, the sound insulation is not particularly good, it is easy to wake up in the morning than birds or cicadas. In the morning there is free bread, butter, jam. There is a convenient soup, you can drink it. You can rent an electric bicycle, and it is especially convenient to ride around the island. There is a section of the road that does not allow bicycles to pass during the day. It seems that after 5 o'clock, the museum is closed and no one cares. Still quite recommended."
