"This hotel is right next to the airport. When you check in, just mention to the front desk that you need airport transfer service, and they'll help you arrange it. The area around the hotel is quite sparse, with not much to explore. You can take a taxi to Queensbay Mall if you want to go shopping. The breakfast buffet is 35 MYR per person and is generally decent, though it's a shame they don't have coffee available. Getting around mainly relies on taxis. Fortunately, taxi fares in Penang aren't too high. However, be aware that traffic can get quite congested during morning and evening rush hours, so it's a good idea to allow for some extra travel time."

"The location was good. My room has a nice view. The room is comfy and spacious. However, there are 2 things I believe the hotel could have done better: 1. Receptionists: when I checked in, the receptionists were not friendly at all. They didn’t smile with me and made me feel quite uncomfortable. I booked the room with breakfast, I believe it is a basic courtesy to confirm with the guests that the booking includes breakfast and inform the guests that what time breakfast will be serving, where it’s located (there are 1 cafe + 1 restaurant in this hotel) and how can we get in (either with breakfast tickets or just walk in and inform room number). I had to ask the receptionist several times for those information (because they weren’t able to give me all info at once). 2. The food was not good. The breakfast’s mvp are chicken sausages, prawn che chong fun and croissants. The rest are cold and tasteless. We also tried the cafe at 1st floor, the drinks were ok, they have Vietnamese chicken salad which tastes not bad but I’m sure we don’t have such thing in Vietnam at all. The worst part was the pizza, it must’ve been made from frozen dough and it was so dry, so hard to bite. Good thing is that around the area, they have a lot of restaurants and shops. If you stay there, you might want to skip the hotel food and explore around."

"Have booked last minute. The overall experience is good. Room is quite. But the corridors is a bit scary as total quite. It is a building for official space and room. Very basic facilities are provided by them but is enough for an overnight stay. Downstairs has some eating place and shop for u to buy drinks and food. The water provided are super tiny 2 bottles hence is not enough. If u are solo female and not too adventurous, u might feel unsafe. It is ok for me and I hv a good rest."

"The hotel is a bit old, and the air conditioning in the bedroom was so noisy it made it hard to get a good night's sleep. However, there are lots of food stalls nearby, and it's very close to Queensbay Mall, which is a plus. I mainly want to commend Raymon (the young man with glasses) at the front desk. He went out of his way to help me, a foreigner, when I didn't have enough cash for a food delivery, and even asked if I needed cutlery. I'm very grateful for his help! Because of him, I'd still trust this hotel for my next business trip."
