"We arrived at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar and it was not hard to find. However, the check-in experience was not very good. We arrived exactly at 3:00 PM (check-in time), but still had to wait around 15 minutes because the room was not ready. Okay, I get it—but the jeepney ride going to the room and roaming around was quite slow, haha, so we decided to just walk instead.
The view was beautiful, and the food at the Italian restaurant was good. However, the service was a bit slow and could use some improvement. The room was just okay, and no conditioner was provided, so it’s best to bring your own. The breakfast was so-so, just a typical Filipino breakfast. We also rode a kalesa (horse carriage), which was a nice way to roam around the area, and we tried the balsa ride, which cost around 700 pesos and was a good experience.”"

"The location is excellent. Less than 1km to Plaza Mayor de Balanga. Close to cafes, food park, night market, and other fast food chains. You can ride a tricycle as soon as you get out of the vicinity. They're quick to respond with calls and online inquiries. The facilities and essentials supplied are almost like those you'd expect in a hotel. The shared bathroom is not a downside as I expected initially. They are actually well-maintained and comfortable to use. The front desk almost has everything you might need in any situation: medicine, alcoholic drinks, games, trash bags, paper cups, etc. There's a water dispenser, too, to fill up water containers. The free breakfast is very much appreciated. It was already prepared as early as 6:30 AM, and you can choose to take them out. The food is nice, too. Well recommended for solo travelers or friends who are staying for a few days in Bataan."

"Less than 3hr drive from makati, La Jolla is an excellent beach getaway destination. Rooms are clean and comfortable- premium rooms have sea views while deluxe rooms face the garden/interior road. There are 2 pools- one infinity pool at the beach and one kids pool/small lagoon pool up by the main lobby and playground. The beach is the main attraction- soft white grey sand, very few small rocks. Shallow drop similar to boracay makes it very family friendly. Nice trees provide shade near the sunbeds. Food- main restaurant has the breakfast buffet, while the beach restaurant serves lunch & dinner. The menu is limited, but portions are generous for the price and food was quite good. Pepperoni Pizza was good, and the chicken inasal & pinakbet with lechon kawali were delicious. The hamburger was the only item that we didn’t like the taste of. We had to preorder in advance since some menu items were not available and the service would take time. Staff are very friendly, but we did need to remind them almost daily to clean our room. WiFi is available and globe signal is significantly weaker than smart. Rooms have cignal tv. Special mention to Joyce, mark and the rest of the f&b crew for tirelessly serving the guests during the Christmas break! We will definitely go back soon. "

"The menu for breakfast has a lot of options to choose from. The waiters were friendly and nice to us and food was excellent. But our room had quite a lot of dust and the toilet needs more cleaning. "Resort amenities are quite great! Pools are well maintained and are varied for different age groups. Schedule of Activities are also posted on the reception area, however they were unavailable at the time we asked for it. Misleading and disappointing. Staff were friendly but there are poor communication in between shifts evident on the lack of endorsement. We ordered food ahead of time, but were served almost an hour late.
There are also a lot of misleading info on the terms and policies posted by the resort online, I suggest you update it as it is a crucial part in making guests informed and comfortable."

GGuest UserLocated in a neighborhood of dirt roads, but it is is well marked, we never felt unsafe even though we were conspicuous tourist arriving late at night, and the property itself is walled & gated. Absolutely no communication/response with anyone from the property despite our multiple attempts to contact before hand to inform of delays & late arrival. However, the couple were ready to open the gate for us within minutes of our arrival, were welcoming & helpful, and provided a WhatsApp contact on arrival and were responsive to our messages during our stay. There are only two rooms so it is very private & looks exactly like the pictures. There are only

Breakfast is fried egg with rice along with fresh fruit and bottle of mineral water.
Lots of takeaway places outside for food. WIFI IS available in the rooms although site says only public areas. Youtube and Netflix is on the TV but couldn't access the cable TV. Clean room and fresh linen. Fridge is available along with towels, body wash and shampoo. Toothbrushes and tooth paste aren't available.

The place looks without proper maintenance, feee breakfast you get almost nothing and dinner is ok and bot overpriced.
The near river is nice but it is not suitable for people without breath doing 700 stairs and not abble to walk on rocks.

GGuest UserWhile the overall stay was relaxing, location is somewhat difficult to arrive at if you do not have a vehicle. Beach front good. Restaurant service was satisfactory, some items on menu being not available, is disappointing and service varied at times slow, Jessa in particular stood out for her attentive bubbly friendly nature always welcoming with a smile. Coffee machine apparently broke down so no back up to even make an instant coffee (i.e., boil a kettle), on our last day
Had to pay a fee per hour to either play darts or billiards (pool) which personally I don't believe in house guests should have to pay.
Check in was efficient as well as check out with reception staff polite friendly and professional.
