Al Ula Hotels with Wifi

"The place is beautiful and the reception staff are wonderful, but it lacks two things. Firstly, the air conditioning needs to be changed. It's a split unit, not central, and it's quite noisy in the room. Secondly, the smoke detector needs to be replaced. Its flashing light is very annoying when the lights are off, especially since it's directly above the bed, making it hard to sleep well – it's like someone is constantly flashing a light in your eyes. My final and most important observation concerns the buffet, specifically the person preparing breakfast items like fried eggs. His attitude is bad, and his demeanor is even worse. When I asked him to make me eggs, he ignored me and treated me as if the eggs were coming out of his own pocket. It took me asking him more than twice before he finally made them, and he did it very begrudgingly."

"I followed the hype and stayed for one night. It was a good experience. The hotel staff were generally quick to respond and polite (provided you communicate in English). Buggy service was also pretty prompt, no long waits. The mattress was the most comfortable out of all the hotels I stayed at in AlUla this trip. For dinner, I had the Red Sea catch of the day, which was seabass. The texture felt a bit soft and cotton-like; I'm not sure if that's typical for fish from the Red Sea, as it tasted different elsewhere, but it didn't seem old. The restaurant manager, Joshua, saw I was from East Asia and proactively wished me 'Gong Xi Fa Cai' (Happy New Year) and even offered a complimentary special drink, which really elevated my overall experience here. Breakfast quality was also very high. I'd come again. Recommended."

"The location is good, close to Elephant Rock and also near Winter Park, which is a tour pick-up point. However, getting from the room to the reception, pool, restaurant, spa, and fitness center requires a bit of a walk. Golf carts are available but often take a while to arrive. The shower was broken but was promptly fixed. Breakfast was delicious."

"A truly magical stay! The caravan set in the middle of AlUla’s mountains is a unique and beautiful experience I absolutely loved it. The staff were super nice and helpful, and the food was good (though a bit pricey). A few small downsides: the AC in the caravan was quite loud, the room wasn’t very dark during the day, and it would be great to have a pool directly by the caravan instead of having to go to the main hotel, which is about 10 minutes away by car and golf cart. Also, during my two visits to the pool, I stayed for around two hours each time and no staff or bartender came by to ask if we wanted to order drinks. Overall, despite these small issues which didn’t affect me much, it was a magical and memorable experience I’d definitely recommend it and hope to come back again one day."

"Visiting AlUla during the off-season offers incredible value for money. Let's start with the weather, which is often a major concern. In July, temperatures range from 24-42 degrees Celsius. Mornings and evenings are surprisingly cool, especially when compared to Riyadh's 35-46 degrees during the same period. It's completely feasible to explore by avoiding the midday heat. Hotel prices in July are incredibly attractive, and there are very few tourists, mostly Arabs. Because there are so few people, the service is exceptionally quick. Shuttles arrive within 5-10 minutes. Only one of the three restaurants was open, offering both Arabic and Thai cuisine. While the Michelin-level prices aren't cheap, the food and service are excellent. The breakfast, in particular, is worth mentioning. It's à la carte, and the quality is superb. You could order the entire menu twice over! What's more, they even asked if I wanted a takeaway when I left. On the first day, I took away bread and fruit, and on the second, bread and Coke. A can of Coke costs 30 SAR in the room, and they packed me three cans along with a complimentary bottle of water! Since I didn't rent a car, I didn't visit any surrounding attractions, but the hotel grounds themselves are beautiful. In the evenings, you can enjoy a bonfire and stargaze. There's even a stargazing activity where a Kenyan guide shows you the moon through a telescope and helps you locate the Big Dipper to orient yourself. All the hotel staff are incredibly nice. They clean the room in the morning and then come back in the evening to prepare it for bedtime, which is a very thoughtful touch. Check-out was instant as I had no extra charges. I used the hotel's car service to the airport, and while it was twice the price of a taxi, the service was truly excellent. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I'm extremely satisfied!"

"Once at the hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed my time, everyone is so friendly of course again Ola and Lorraine greeted me and take care of me during the stay. At the swimming pool, Mongkonpat and Zaher there were exceptional—always attentive and friendly, ensuring that every need was met with professionalism and a smile. Their service truly enhanced my relaxation and enjoyment of the facilities for my family. Leah stood out with her outstanding hospitality in the resturant. She was always welcoming, quick reaction and knows what we want, and provided excellent care throughout every meal and also another gentleman as well. Overall, the Chedi Hegra team exceeded my expectations. Their kindness, professionalism, and personal touches made my stay both comfortable and memorable. I am grateful for their efforts and look forward to returning in the future. Small suggestions: I have a small suggestion regarding the bicycles. Having bicycles are wonderful expereience from the hotel. However, The bikes provided were quite difficult to adjust, and the position of the pedals—being very close to the frame—made it hard for the kids to ride comfortably. More maintenance, and offering a greater variety of bicycle sizes or types for young guests and asian ladies like me with lower bicycles will be even better."

"This hotel is truly delightful. The staff is very welcoming, sharing a story and offering a brief tour before check-in. The ambiance is magical, largely due to the reliance on candlelight rather than extensive electricity. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful. My only minor reservation was the pervasive presence of the SAB bank logo. While subtle, once noticed, it became apparent in nearly every design element throughout the hotel. Nevertheless, I would wholeheartedly rate this experience a perfect 10/10, particularly for those who appreciate its unique charm and atmosphere."
