"We had a very disappointing and disturbing experience during our stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, money was stolen from our room. What makes the situation even more concerning is that not all of the cash was taken — exactly half of it was missing. This made it less immediately noticeable, but it was very clear to us that the amount had been deliberately reduced. We always keep track of our belongings, and there is no doubt that the money was taken while we were out. This raises serious concerns about security and trust, especially in a place where guests expect their personal items to be safe. We only discovered the issue later the same day, after we had already checked out of the hotel, which made the situation even more upsetting. Because of this experience, we cannot recommend this hotel and strongly advise future guests to be extremely cautious with their valuables."

"This hotel is convenient for a layover. It's next to the Central shopping center, about a 7-minute taxi ride away. We booked a room with a pool view but ended up with a view of the parking lot, and in the morning, it turned out to be a construction site, which was a shame since we wanted to sleep in. The pool is clean and open late. I wish they provided disposable toothbrushes."

"This is our second visit to Ban Sainai resort Krabhi, first visit was in 2016.. I can say the experience got better.. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort in Krabi. We booked a pond-facing deluxe room, and the views were simply stunning — surrounded by lush greenery, a peaceful pond, and dramatic limestone cliffs that truly make this place special. The cleanliness was excellent, and everything was very well maintained. What stood out the most was the front office team — always smiling, warm, and ready to help with anything. Their hospitality really made us feel welcomed throughout the stay. The location is great — tucked away in nature for peace and relaxation, yet still convenient to reach places like Ao Nang Beach with the resort’s very convenient shuttle service. Breakfast was awesome, with good variety and quality. Another highlight was the swimming pool, which is honestly one of the best we’ve experienced — very scenic and perfectly maintained. Overall, this is one of the best nature resorts we’ve stayed at. Perfect for couples and anyone looking to relax in a serene environment. Highly recommended! Will definitely visit again."

"The location of this hotel is very good located in Krabi town nearby alot of food markets, local bars and more. It's not a high priced hotel but gives you the correct quality you want for this budget. The staff is really friendly and the rooms are safely protected behind a closed door. I could also leave my luggage safely for few hours on checkout day. Thank you, I am a happy customer."

"The Railay Princess Resort & Spa was very very good. First time we’ve stayed there and we were very happy with the resort, facilities and location … great location! The restaurant offers very good meals and in particular breakfast was terrific! It’s true there’s quite a few monkeys hanging around but leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone. Overall a lovely resort and will be our “go to” accommodation when we’re back in Railay Bay. Highly recommend!!"

"The views are lovely, and it's right on Tukka Beach where you can go kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, and even try some clam digging. The big trees in the common areas are beautiful. The restaurant mainly serves Western food, which got a bit repetitive after a while. When I booked, there weren't any connecting rooms available, so I ended up with a deluxe room and a pool access room upstairs. On the first night, there was no hot water, and even after it was fixed, it took a long time to heat up. I didn't get to shower until midnight in the public bathroom, which was a very unpleasant experience as I was so tired. I didn't even get to have a proper soak. The hotel upgraded me to a pool access room for the second night, which wasn't a huge upgrade but I accepted it rather than argue. Overall, if it's not peak season, the value for money is excellent. During peak season, it's about average."

"Location was good, within walking distance to Ao Nang Night Market, eateries, and shops nearby. The hotel also provides umbrellas when it rains, which was useful during our stay. The hotel does look a little run down, and the toilet had a slight smell. Not sure if it was due to the heavy rain, but there was also a brief power outage during our stay. Thankfully, the hotel staff managed to restore the power quite quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially during check-in when they assisted us with carrying our luggage to the room. We also requested for a late check-out, but do note that they charge by the hour. Breakfast was decent. Although it is not halal-certified, there were still some safe food and vegetarian options available. Alternatively, halal food is easily accessible outside the hotel. The breakfast crowd was also manageable since most guests left early for their tours and activities. Overall, if you are mainly spending your time outside on activities and just need a place with basic amenities, this hotel is a decent option. They also offer activities and tours at an additional cost."

"Had a great stay here. The location is perfect nearly steps from the beach and Main Street of ao nang. The room was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The restaurant is in a beautiful spot right on the beach and the food and drinks were great! The only downfall was the very outdated tv system which couldn’t be used with Netflix during our 1 day of rain. All in all I highly recommend this place."

You need to go outside to reach the reception, restaurant, or bathroom from your room. They have done a fantastic job of combining luxury with a natural, jungle-like setting—something I've never seen before. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. If you're looking for a more exotic nature experience, this place is ideal. However, if you prefer a more standard/business stay, it might not be the best option.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for just one night while passing through — and that’s honestly the only downside, because we really liked it and would have happily stayed longer. The staff are very polite and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care and pay attention to details. Everything is thoughtfully designed: comfortable, clean, and very pleasant. The property consists of several villas arranged around a pool. The pool itself is great — easy access and very convenient to use. The room doesn’t offer much in terms of cooking facilities, but everything else is perfectly arranged. The bed is very comfortable, with an excellent mattress. Breakfast is served buffet-style, and the staff carefully maintain cleanliness and order. It’s also a very quiet and peaceful place.

TTati_13They let me check in early, which I really appreciated. I got a spacious room with a terrace on the top floor, so the view was amazing! Great location. The ladies at the front desk were all very smiling and friendly. Housekeeping every day, clean towels, two bottles of water, coffee. The only downside is that my bed linen wasn't changed once during the whole week.

I stayed at Pakasai Resort in Ao Nang, Krabi for 2 nights (June 22–24) and couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience—especially for my birthday! I originally only hoped for a room upgrade, but the resort went far beyond my expectations and made my celebration truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the surprises didn’t stop there. On my birthday, I was greeted with a beautiful birthday cake, a thoughtful message arranged on the bed, and genuinely heartfelt service throughout the day. I also booked dinner at GAIA, the resort’s own restaurant, and was treated to a free cocktail to celebrate. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent—it was the perfect birthday dinner. The resort itself is cozy and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery that makes you feel close to nature. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, and the entire resort has a calm, welcoming vibe. Overall, I felt truly taken care of during my stay. I highly recommend Pakasai Resort to anyone visiting Ao Nang, especially if you're looking for a place that combines comfort, nature, and genuinely caring service. KKaoroubaoI absolutely loved my stay at this beach resort in Krabi—it was absolutely perfect in every way. The scenery here is breathtakingly beautiful, with turquoise waters, golden sand, and stunning limestone cliffs all around. The beach itself is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and simply gorgeous; I couldn’t have asked for a nicer spot to relax by the ocean. The best part by far is the resort’s swimming pool, which is actually the largest pool in Thailand. We spent so much time there and had the best time swimming, laughing, and enjoying the water—it was so much fun. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. The staff were kind, helpful, and attentive to every need. Overall, everything was flawless. We had an incredible time in Thailand, and this resort made our trip even more wonderful. I can’t recommend it enough!

GGuest UserGreat location, and the small bungalows and houses look quite nice. However, the front area near the beach, including the pool and restaurant, wasn't very well-maintained and was partly dirty. The pool water was cloudy and not very inviting, so I didn't use it. I had a 'new room,' which sounds good, but it wasn't. It was inadequately furnished – nowhere to put luggage, no chair... and it was very unclean. It seemed nothing had been cleaned after construction, as protective plastic was still stuck everywhere. The wardrobe was just a rail where the kettle and other items were also placed. At least they quickly brought me more hangers when I asked. The only really good thing was the new sun loungers on the balcony. My room wasn't cleaned, and when I inquired, I was told I had to leave my room key at reception for that. Seriously? I've never encountered that before, and it would have been helpful if they had informed me. Breakfast was very basic, and I didn't like the coffee. However, the à la carte dinner was delicious.

GGuest UserCheck in was a breeze with luggage handlers helping carry your luggage from the pier to the hotel. The reception girls are really lovely and helpful with whatever request you might have(like booking boats to your next destination), just remember to say please and thank you(kohp khun ka/krap). The hotel is the last one on the pier side bay, therefore is really quiet, even now in high season. The down low is that you have to walk 20minutes to restaurants and bars on 30+ degree heat + high humity,so expect to arrive sweating both ways. The hotel itself is probably 40/50 years old and seems that never been renovated, the inside of the rooms need freshing up,paint etc...an overall renovation of the whole building. Although the rooms were clean, aircon was good and our room with the pool access(1 of 3) had great views from the bay. Pool was also clean and it was at a good temperature. If you are here for just a couple of days it is fine. Breakfast is basic but they have an egg station, so you can order your eggs however you prefer. And the black coffee was great too(better than other hotels we stayed in Bangkok/Krabi). The hotel staff were very kind to supply my wife with Flying Rabbit(a local thai version of gaviscon/diarrhoea medicine) which helped a mild food poisoning combined with charcoal tablets. Moreover, the hotel has a little private beach with sun lounges at the very end of the bay, perfect for chilling when you don't have any boat trips booked for the morning. Be aware that it becomes shady after around 3pm because its so close to the mountain. Also there were monkeys signs on your doors to keep them lock to prevent curious monkeys of rummaging through your stuff but we haven't seen any during our 3 night stay. Would I stay at this hotel again? Probably not unless completely renovated:, too far from the restaurants and bars and very old/tired. Make sure you use some walking shoes when going out because you definitely gonna hit that 10000 steps mark.

MMarlé South AfricaReally beautiful place right on the beach. Several pools. Nice restaurant and amazing breakfast buffet, even for me as a vegan. Our room was nothing special so we spent most of the time at the pool. Many chairs to lie on in the shade. A bit over priced for the Chinese new year holiday. But we really enjoyed it and the staff was very friendly and moved us to a new room after we complained about noisy neighbors. Check-out time is 11am which is a bit early to be honest. But you can still relax by the pool and facilities after checkout.

GGuest UserThis hotel is amazing! It used to be a temple so it has a fantastic Thai architecture. The room and bathroom were really big and spacious. The staff was friendly and the housekeeping is daily and dedicated. The aircon worked well, the bed was comfortable and there's plenty of furniture in the rooms. The swimming pool is big and in good condition. The hotel is right in front of the beach but not in the central Ao Nang area. The wifi was very weak during the whole stay.
