Visitors often see deer, rabbits, and other wildlife out back. There is a large drive-through parking lot for bringing your trailers and parking them just outside your door. You can access local trails for ATVs, biking, hiking, snowmobiling, walking and skiing, all close by, right from the big, off street parking lot here! Ely welcomes outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds! Enjoy a walk or drive down to Semer's Park on Shagawa Lake. The park has playground equipment, picnic area, dock, and swimming beach. A walking trail takes you over bridges to the islands, which are always fun to explore, especially with children. Stony Ridge Resort next door to Semer's has breakfast and great burgers, and a nice outdoor seating area, as well as indoor seating.
