"I forgot to take pictures. The coffee machine's filter was very dirty, so I asked the front desk to replace it with another machine or fix it. They brought me a broken one, then another one, and it was still broken... The front desk even asked me what was wrong with it... They said they might not have any other machines and she couldn't do anything about it. So I replied: ”I'm sorry, it's not my responsibility...” Then they cleaned one of the water tank filters they had taken and brought it back to me."

"Why TF do I have to tolerate maintenance work including loud drilling right next to my room at 7:30 am in the morning? Absolutely ridiculous. And the front desk clearly did nothing about it after I notified them because it was still going on an hour later. This is not a hotel. It is an utter mess of a place."

"Room was spacious with balcony and a small storage room for luggage/clothes next to the bathroom, which was very convenient. Free shuttle available for within 1 ot 2km (can't recall exact).
The biggest issue on my trip was the spoilt light near my door entrance and the plug nearby was spoilt too hence there was no lights at that part of the room and too dark to work at the desk with only a small table light. The technician promised to change the next day but no action was taken for the 5 nights I was there.
Temperature control wasn't working properly too and no matter how I tried to adjust the temperature upwards, it just didn't go up and room was rather cold."

"This hotel is new and has newer facilities, but the front desk is annoyingly overcharging. Ctrip already collects all the taxes and fees, but they'll charge you again if you're not careful. I was also charged $127 in the early morning. When I asked them, they said it was a system error and would be returned at checkout, but it never was. So, be careful with pre-authorizations and read your bill carefully."

The hotel is an American-style villa divided into apartments. It has a good experience and has a kitchen and refrigerator. The front desk staff are also quite enthusiastic. Recommended. I will choose this hotel again next time I come to Long Beach.

The room is small and old, facing the street and very noisy, and the nearby bar is still noisy at 2-3 am. The service is also average, parking fee is charged, and the breakfast is very monotonous. The only thing is that the location is good

michaelfengjiaYou can see the bay, but the view is not very magnificent. The sea view is a bit expensive and not worth it. The price of hotels in this area is very high, and the price/performance ratio is not bad. Parking charges, convenient for eating around.

We liked the laundry self-service so much after traveling through different areas in LA for around 10 days. The food for breakfast and daily tea time (happy hours at around 5-7pm) were so tasty. We have to say it is deeply appreciated with a microwave and the whole set of tableware in the room.

It's about 10 minutes away from the center, and the surrounding environment is very average. The hotel is unmanned, and no one came to clean the hotel from the four days of check-in to the time of check-out. The style inside is good, very clean, the room is not small, the air is not bad, it's a bit noisy during the day but still quiet late at night, and there are many free movies on TV. The hot water is slow. You can consider using their parking lot. The Bauhinia outside the window is great.

Hotel Royal is a small and quaint hotel in downtown Long Beach. It takes about 40 minutes to walk to the shoreline drive to the lighthouse and the Pike outlets. I had an exceedingly pleasant stay at Hotel Royal. The staff, articulately Mario and Jose, were accommodating. There is hot water all day and I really appreciated that. Also free coffee in the morning. It is close to all kinds of good restaurants, and I had no trouble carrying on with all kinds of fun andbusiness.

Loved the fridge and the microwave that came with the room. The only thing that was an issue was the shower water kept coming out. Yet loved the stay and I would come again if the rates were as cheap as this time. The parking was right outside and I did not have to pay. I would have liked more toilet paper but overall the cost and room was alright for the price.

Great location (close to Vons supermarket and not too far from the Convention Centre). But rooms are pretty basic and housekeeping is virtually non-existent. In room air con is extremely noisy. Sheets, pillows and mattress were dirty. Guy at the front desk was very nice - but it is clear the place is run on a shoestring.
I haven't stayed around Long Beach but suspect there are better options for the money.

This hotel really saved my life. Somebody was trying to steal my car and I pulled into the hotel and they welcomed me and they kept me safe.They didn't charge it deposit.They're so sweet and kind.And the rooms are clean and spacious.
