It was dirty and facilities without light and destroyed! The location is close to a main avenue but the neighborhood it’s dirty and feels unsafe. OMG couldn’t believe the condition of the room. A huge rat was having breakfast with us in the table next to our right. But wait, thanks god they were having a huge car as a pet to run all over the food

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Maduro Hotel in Istanbul. The staff were friendly and welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. I loved my little top-floor room, it had a beautiful terrace and I even made friends with a local cat who visited from time to time. The location was fantastic, not too close but not too far either and a lovely walking distance to all exciting sights. I would stay again!

I'll start from the beginning, when you go to the reception, you immediately understand that Turkey, the country of cats, really stinks of urine from the sofa. We booked a family room, on booking it was indicated 29 meters with a sea view, in fact the room was 12 meters, the bathroom was covered in mold, the furniture was all peeled off. Past reviews are obviously twisted, on the 1st floor there is a shoe factory and you can hear a knock all the time. The price is not the smallest for the hotel, we refused to move in and thanks to the administrator for canceling the reservation without penalty.

Terrible hotel and service. The hotel is located in the old part of Istanbul, the taxi does not reach there, because at 7 pm they put curbs on the street where the hotel is located, and the hotel is on a hill, and you will have to push (drag) the suitcases up, and the worst thing is that the hotel has no elevator, and we had to lift our suitcases to the 4th floor along a very high steep staircase, the staff would not even offer to help. During check-in we were surprised to discover the room in a deplorable state. A huge trash bag was on the floor with dirty towels, cleaning had not been done.
