We stayed there last week of August 22 and encountered a number of issues. Firstly, our room wasn't ready the first night and we were given to separate rooms which split our family up. I wasn't happy about this but we had no choice. What was alarming that during our stay, I observed atleast 5 other families having similar issue as you can't help not noticing people complaining when you walk past reception. I think this is a scam by the hotel as they encourage the booking, take the money then the first night you not in the room you paid for. Also the photos on booking.com is a complete lie. The room we stayed in did not look anything like what was portrayed on the site. We booked two double beds but one of them is a sofa bed! Not comfortable and we did raise this but hotel couldn't care less. They couldn't offer us another room so we had no choice to accept it. Moving on, the stay itself was pleasant enough. Breakfast was decent (but orange juice is cordial!), swimming pools sauna steam rooms were great. There is also a huge jacuzzi bath which was nice. Hotel is located 10 mins walk to grand bazaar and 5 mins walk to nearest tram. Cleanliness is poor. I would rate 2 out of 5. Cleaner was in and out like a flash. Didn't do floor etc. I looked under bed and dust has been collecting for months and not cleaned. Overall ok hotel but expensive for the service we encountered. Would I return? Probably not unless hotel can improve its cleanliness and customer service. I should have been offered some sort of refund for the first night and the sofa bed.

We stayed here as a family and chose the hotel due to its location and also the Hilton brand. Every aspect and element of our stay was outstanding; from the welcome and check in process, the concierge, housekeeping, catering and reception desk - all outstanding and so detailed in the service they give to hosts. We particularly liked this hotel because whilst it's located in the old down district, it's amenities are highly modern, crisp and contemporary. We really enjoyed dining on the roof top terrace, adorned with an array of beautiful flowers and a cosmopolitan vibe. On Friday evenings the live music performance by a guitarist and singer made for a lovely dining experience complemented with delicious food (the tiramasu was one of the best I've ever had!). Our particular thanks to Gonca and the breakfast team for going out of their way to make us very well looked after and adorning our baby with love and lots of attention. We will most certainly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Istanbul - you will be very pleased

I had an amazing stay here on June 11 2023. Arrived and was greeted with friendly employees who was willing to assist me with my luggage and with a bright smile too! Met Omer from concierge and we spoke for a brief period of time with him explaining to me about the whereabouts in Istanbul. Also, Kubra showed me to my room and explained in detail about the room amenities. Before checking out, when I had my breakfast ( great selection) Kubra showed up, asked about my stay, whether everything was alright and my experience visiting Istanbul. She and the rest of the bellman team even send me off. So sweet of them! Room was cosy and I like the ambience of it. Location was great since it is near all the attractions. My stay was for two nights. If you want a hotel that is not too busy and crazy, i would suggest this hotel. Shoutout to Kubra and Omer! Hope to see the both of you when I am back in Istanbul!

This was one of the best hotels in Turkey. The great thing about it is that it has a car park. The looks of the hotel are amazing. Historia shopping mall is on the opposite street. Tram line is 2-3 minutes walk. Lots of shops around this area. This was all at an affordable price also. I will be booking again at this hotel and it is now one of my favourite hotels of Istanbul.

Key points, key points: His family can call you the nucleic acid test personnel to the room for nucleic acid test. You don't need to go to the airport and you don't need to go to the airport, which saves worry, money and time. I stayed at this hotel during the epidemic. Pluses: - comfortable big rooms; - perfect location - next to Istiklal famous street and Taksim square is just 10 minutes walk; a lot of restaurants, shops around; 5 minutes walk to Galata tower; - very good service; - ok breakfast (selection could be better) - but service is amazing. Attentive and fast. Special thanks to Eren - surprised with very good service. Please keep him. - 18th floor have amazing restaurant with city view; - ok small gym; - nice outdoor pool. Holiday Inn Istanbul City, an exceptional hotel, IHG Group! We stayed there in June 2022, 9 days! ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS reception staff!!! We received, as it was my birthday, a business room of 55 square meters! With living room, bedroom, exceptional! Pool view! Also, the cleanliness is 100%! Very good location, right in the tram station, which has a separate line, so transport is not limited by road congestion. A bit disturbing is the fact that, sometimes, we had to leave the pool at 3 or 4 p.m. because sometimes they had wedding parties organized in the pool area. But these parties are very nice, not disturbing, because at 11 pm they were over. It is very easy to reach Florya beach, in approx. 30 minutes by MetroBus. We recommend!

Food Breakfast was very poor, few options for breakfast. Room We accommodated standard rooms but when we went It was a very small room which did not even carry luggage, very small space and we had no place to put our clothes. We contacted the reception and they changed our room where we settled into a larger room. The noise was very loud, unacceptable, from inside the customers were walking all night creating noise, also the windows were not insulated at all, all the noise from the straw could be heard inside. Staff The staff were very friendly and for every request they tried to make solutions. The hotel In general the hotel was not for vacation but to do business, the building was very old, it needed a lot of renovation and for us it was not a 4 star hotel.

Жили на 4 этаже, номер был угловой, маленький и тесный даже для двоих. Банные принадлежности: неплохо было бы дополнить их банными халатами, при длительном пребывании в отеле это необходимая вещь. «Мини-бар» - это пустой холодильник, пара пакетиков кофе, чая и сахара, две бутылочки воды, а также, бумажные стаканчики, которые имеют свойство протекать, при заваривании в них кофе. Уборка в номера была относительно неплохой, стоить отметить, что чаевые оставлялись каждый раз, постельное белье меняли два раза. Завтраки: если вы останавливаетесь на пару дней, вероятно, что вас всё устроит, но в нашем же случае, уже на 4-5 день завтраки надоели, разнообразия никакого, всё очень приелось, каждое утро одно и тоже.

I booked this hotel from 1st of january 2020 till 6th january. the hotel is cheap with very friendly staff and great location, it was 3 minutes away from Laleli- istanbul University tramway station and 2 minutes away from Vezneciler Metro station. The breakfast was also good, offered a variety of cheese, jam, ham, and fresh fruits. The hotel is a little bit old, need a little bit of freshen up (don't expect a 5 stars hotel) but overall really good compared to its price range. will definitely book here again and recommend to friends.

We are staying in this hotel right now and it is simply amazing. I was a bit hesitant to book this hotel as there weren't that many reviews. I took a gamble and it is well worth it. It is bit on the expensive side but amenities make up for the additional cost. Hotel was opened a couple of years ago but due to pandemic it has hardly been used. Pretty much everything looks brand new. Pros: We are in a triple room with a balcony and it is very spacious. There is a mini fridge in the room along with a large cabinet. Interestingly, TV is hidden in the large mirror in the middle of the room so it serves dual purpose. Air conditioner is solid and it got quite cold at night. As it is a newer hotel, they have incorporated a few new technologies. One strange thing; there is a window in the bathroom that faces the room. Why? 😂. If your room faces the street, it can get a bit noisy. But not enough to bother. Breakfast was simply awesome. Selection was quite large. Breakfast is served on the rooftop which has a fantastic view of Laleli Camii. Breakfast is probably the highlight of our stay! There is a spa/hammam in the building. Hammam is supposedly free from 2 to 6pm. But I haven't tried it yet. There is a swimming pool across the street in their sister hotel called Beethoven Premium. No swimming pool in this building. There is a small area to pray, mescit, in the basement. Majority of the staff is friendly. One of the receptionists could use a little more welcoming smile. Hotel is in the commercial shopping market. Majority of the attractions are a good 15 to 20 minutes walk. And it is not a straight walk as there are a lots of ups and downs as Istanbul terrain is quite hilly. There are a few restaurants near by. Famous Laleli Camii (masjid) is three minutes walk. It is an ideal hotel for a business person. Families/vacationers who want to stay closer to the attractions should try something a bit closer to attractions. Overall an amazing hotel.

So lets start with the little positive the location is the best thing about this hotel, it’s central so blue mosque and grand bazaar are walking distance and a lot of food places nearby. ANYWAYS I would avoid the hotel, there are far better hotels across the road. First things first the lifts are so scary so small and claustrophobic god forbid if they were to ever break down, hallway’s lights only come on when you walk past talk about cheap skates, felt like house of horrors!!! We was given two rooms next to eachother another positive i guess anyways the rooms let me get started on them!! The corner room for me and my sister felt like we was shoved in the corner, the window was blocked behind the draw? The view was of a ugly wall so could see nothing, the room stank of old people and fags, my parents room was a tiny bit better, small for a double bed and a random pillar next to the bed made no sense, the view was also disgusting. Anyways next an alarm goes off and the bell boy asks us if we have done anything, running around confused?? So we didn’t know if this was a fire alarm or not but were left upstairs wondering to go downstairs or not ? It actually felt so scary i had a panic attack, if this was a fire alarm we would of all been left there! After this we requested mine and my sisters room to be changed as my sister refused to sleep there as she is disabled and found the room to be scary rightfully so, the receptionist miserable man told us ‘what’s wrong with the room it’s best room’ sorry?? You stay there then! Anyways he told us he was night staff and to ask morning staff he was just a waste of space and had a face on, really rude. Anyways in the morning the staff switched our room to the upper floor he was much more helpful and the best person there the rest god help them, that room was a bit better with front view but i must say the furniture is very dirty and looks overused, defo needs replacing but this hotel is too busy saving its cost, also lights and stuff only work with the key card in the slot another money making scheme and u get only one key card lol! Also another thing english here is like alien language most of them look at your face like your talking gibberish! I got unwell on one of the days and asked the receptionist if they had a dr again looked confused as if we was talking gibberish and then i just proceeded to find a pharmacist myself. The 5th floor seems like their executive floor idk who stays there but there lights remain on in the corridor funny enough and there’s no smell must be the owners whilst they leave the rest of the hotel creepy and smelly. Also the terrace upstairs is all closed off they have no bar or breakfast there they falsely advertised the terrace view with breakfast as it was all closed and breakfast was on the first floor. Breakfast was another problem, just bread and egg nothing else and the women making egg was rude to my father and said there was no more egg then continued to serve other people
