The owners of the approximately 7 apar**ents - a middle-aged Greek couple - were very friendly and helpful from the start; we also received useful tips on food, drink, leisure and culture, for example. Our apar**ent was very clean and was cleaned daily and regularly provided with fresh linen. We particularly liked the fact that the lady of the house went to a lot of trouble with our breakfast and lovingly set the table in the courtyard under a tree.
Note: You should remember that Crete is known for permanent, more or less strong winds.
CONCLUSION: FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR THE MORE ORIGINAL CRETE AND DO NOT FOLLOW MASS TOURISM, A CLEAR RECOMMENDATION. WE (couple, late 50s) FELT VERY COMFORTABLE AND AT HOME THERE.

It's the fourth time we've returned to Crete but the first we've come to the east. What can I say, beautiful! We stayed at the Flamingo Apar**ents, we thought for two nights then we added a third because it is in a very convenient position for visiting the east coast. The owner was very kind and helpful, the sea view apar**ent is perfect. New mattresses, small kitchen which we used for breakfast. Bathroom ok and everything very clean. They spend every day cleaning. Convenient parking. Truly top! I can only recommend it highly. Ah, he also let us find some welcome sweets in the fridge.
