Very quiet location, a few minutes walk from to sea shore and 10 min walk from the center of Skala Kalloni. Very polite and friendly staff, free parking, swimming pool... decent breakfast included. Rooms are big and have terraces, although furniture is outdated. Overall good deal for a short stay.

This was a very friendly hotel who went the extra mile if you wanted some help or advice. We felt this hotel and island was like Greece 30 years ago! The charm surpassed our expectations. The beach just down the road from the hotel was very quiet and the sea so warm and clear. (Just pick your spot in between the sea****, this wasn’t a problem.) We have already booked to return next year, can’t wait.

Beautiful hotel with perfect location but only short walk to tavernas etc. Excellent location for birders. Huge clean rooms. Lovely staff. Well run hotel. Excellent value for money! We will come again.

Rooms are very basic but you're not going to be in them long are you. good size balcony. Rooms cleaned each day towels changed every 2 days also linen. Large pool well maintained . food served 12-3 would be good if food was available later say 5-8 so you don't have to walk the 20 minuets to the nearest bars, sometimes you just want a chilled evening . Pool bar open each day until 11.30pm got to mention Ellana who works the bar 3 nights she is so friendly has lots of local knowledge and she worked so hard keeping the bar area clean and tidy. Also the evening barman sorry didn't get his name friendly, cheerful always smiling. If you just want to relax this is the place for you. Great views across the water flats watching flamingos, pelicans, herons and lots of others.

Superb hotel, excellent staff, nothings too much trouble, rooms are excellent. Showers normally poor in other hotels but here they were excellent. Clean and friendly, they even surprised me with a very tasty birthday cake. The BBQ were excellent too.

Visited as three families- mums and kids. The hotel was perfect, authentic and extremely friendly and welcoming A 2 minute walk down to a deserted beach, lovely warm sea great for paddling and shell collecting. The hotel serves lunch which includes delicious Greek salad and the best Tzatziki ever! A 15 minute flat walk into the village where there are a good selection of restaurants, cafes and two small supermarket type stores. Would absolutely recommend Lesvos and the Aegeon hotel to all. I can see why most of the customers are regulars!

Another wonderful stay at the hotel Aegeon. Traditionally Greek, set amongst beautiful well maintained gardens. Friendly and helpful staff make you feel most welcome. Spacious rooms, regularly cleaned with the added bonus of air conditioning. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool is most enjoyable, a good selection of hot and cold homemade items. Bar snacks served at lunchtime are also not to be missed. Beaches and a good selection of tavernas are just a 10 minute walk away meaning this lovely hotel ticks all our boxes along with many others who return year after year.

Stayed for 1 week had the best time staff and owners were great we were b&b plenty of choice hot and cold they only did food at lunchtime but the choice was good and everything we had was lovely would definitely return to this hotel it’s a lovely island very chilled and traditional which is what we wanted would recommend this hotel

Just got back from a week at the aegeon. We had a fabulous time, with Antoinette making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were very clean and had air conditioning (thank goodness) a kettle & a fridge!! It was just what we wanted small and friendly with a few shops & tavernas 10 min walk away. Right by a beautiful sandy beach absolute heaven!!! Thank you so much I hope we'll be back soon
