Very simple: avoid if you want to sleep... This hotel is located next to a place where they play loud music till late in the evening. The guy at the reception tells you with a big smile that it is not going to be a quiet night... I spent 5 min in my room and left asking for a refund, but the same guy at the reception refused.

Found a hotel which has value for money, clean, nice accomodation and kind and friendly staffs. Their food is great as well♥️♥️. We slept so well! Well recommended for travelers who wants to stay comfy yet cheap. Totally loving the ambience.

Though its in the heart of thamel,but it's in a very quite place... Rooms are big and extremely clean and staffs are super nice.i never regret staying at the hotel.. I stayed for a couple of days and felt just like home.everything about this hotel is so good and I would like to recommend to all my friends those who are looking for hotel in kathmandu.

Hotel is in Thamel area which is supposed to be busy and popular. Only problem is, it is in a lane like most others in Thamel. Once you are checked-in, ofcourse, the staff is very very courteous , welcoming , polite. Breakfast was very good. Accept Indian Rupees. I had taken their car service for airport service & 2 days local trips including Chandragiri at a very reasonable rates & friendly guidance. Very comfortable room with 24 hour hot water. Fridge provided with few items. For people needing Punjabi ( indian) food, a restaurant with name Satkar across the street. As such, you will enjoy the fact that many tourist spots & airport are within 6 Kms. Recommend it.

A very warm welcome hotel with friendly locals who works here, they even upgraded our room and we got private terrace on the 5th floor. Rooms is clean and big enough for 2 people. We also had food in their café downstairs, it was tasty. Best recommendation.

I highly recommended satkar hotel for those who is looking for the boutique hotel in Thamel, very clean and good price and service. The Stuff is very polite and have very good hospitality, especially Jeshon who has helped us for the bookings, tour guide and arranged a pick up for us. Very good memories with Nepal and thank you Satkar for having me and my Aunty at the hotel 💕💕🙏🏻🙏🏻

The hotel is in busy Thamel, but it’s located in a quiet area. Jeshon and his staff were very friendly and attentive. They have options for breakfast. My room was big and has complete amenities and shower had hot water and strong water pressure. Jeshon prepared my tour for a hike and accompanied me to the airline office to change my ticket. They made me feel at home. I won’t look for another hotel if I ever come back to Kathmandu.

Satkar Boutique Home is a perfect place to stay for your time in KTM. It’s close to all the shopping and restaurants and things to do and see. It’s on a quiet street just over from the main one. The staff are all wonderful and super helpful. Jeshon was fabulous the whole time. He spent two days taking me to all the sites and then sent a list of recommendations for Pokhara. The rooms were big and spacious. Clean too. I highly recommend staying here
