The room was small but serviceable. It was one of the cheapest rooms in town, but it was easily the most expensive room on my cross country trip, by a factor of two
The building to check in for my room was across the street and down the block from the actual room. That's not even mentioning crossing a busy road.
If you're infirm or have mobility issues, condsider giving these rooms a miss, especially in the winter and high season.
The front desk service was excellent and the room was clean and warm. The service in the hotel restaurant was similarly excellent.
