Outstanding views, superb accomodation, very friendly stuff!. We did not expect this! The location is phantastic, sunny on the balconies all day long and the sunset just straight ahead, watching the tidal variations in the river underneath. Breathtaking…

We booked an overnight at the Oyster Box beach house in Kenton on Sea. We arrived early evening and contacted reservations for access…within 2/3 minutes we were greeted by manager on duty John, who can only be described as the most helpful person we have ever met. He gave us a tour of the ground floor apartment where we were staying, it was absolutely amazing. John left us his contact details and advised that he was available 24/7 should we need any assistance. He asked at what time we would like breakfast. We had the most beautiful breakfast cooked by John and his two assistants, choice was tremendous. We ate breakfast on decking overlooking the most beautiful beach, it was amazing. What can we say, an absolutely exceptional place, we will definitely be back!!

Our family had the most amazing stay, beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. Absolutely everything has been thought of, the staff were outstanding and super helpful. Complete luxury, beautifully decorated with the best view in Kenton!

This house is amazing. We enjoyed the kitchen, the pool, our own private living room, the views and beach access, the bikes you can ride to the beach and caught up on laundry. Highly recommend!!! The staff is also wonderful!!

WOW. They’ve completed renovated and upgraded - didn’t think it could get any better, but this is next level. Barefoot luxury. Utterly stylish. Outdoor areas are magnificent. The views!! Attention to detail. Just perfect. Everything is beautiful, yet practical and uncomplicated.

This was our second stay and nothing has changed ! The upstairs bedroom en suite and adjacent large lounge are luxurious and open out onto a large balcony with a view of the Bushmans river lagoon and sea which is breathtaking. Every little comfort is provided for and the kitchen downstairs is fully equipped including a well stocked wine fridge. Fantastic breakfast cooked by the staff who come in in the morning. There is easy access to the beach where you can walk on the sand forever ! We will be back !

It was the most beautiful accomodation during our trip. The house is so wonderful set up with funiture, pictures, colours and nippes - all patches together. The kitchen is great and really ready to cook, not one of these kitchens, that look good and are not equipped. The terrasse was perfect with the view and equipped with lots of cushions. All at its best!

Our family stayed at the Oyster Box Beach House in December 2022, and had the most wonderful time. The newly renovated Beach House is stunning, and the setting is even better. The house has all the amenities you could need. The service was excellent. Thanks to the Oyster Collection team for a most memorable holiday. Highly recommended!

Oyster Box (and Kenton on sea) is a perfect place for some relaxing days. The house has two units, a well equipped kitchen and a lounge (shared) + a big terrace with a small pool. There’s also a possibility for barbeque, for those who enjoy that. (this can be a nuisance as well - the couple staying in the other unit had a barbeque one night and the smoke made it impossible for us to sit outside, so we had to stay in the room). The property is well kept and has a modern style. The rooms are big, beds are really comfortable and bathroom is very nice. Breakfast is served whenever you choose - two really lovely ladies came every morning to prepare this. They also kept the whole place very clean and tidy. The location couldn’t be better. Stunning views to the tidal river and beaches, and a short 10 minutes walk to the center of the village. Th area is ideal for hiking (beach, sand dunes, cliffs). I’m sure you won’t find a better place to stay in Kenton. One little extra comment on Kenton itself: we stayed for two whole weeks. That is a bit too much. Not because the place isn’t lovely enough (because it is!). But it has NOT really enough good options for restaurants. A couple of OK, but very informal pizza/burger places, a decent restaurant (Continental) + a really great place called the House Kitchen (Unfortunately only open for lunch when we where there). That’s it if you don’t want to drive. Stanley is another ok restaurant approx. 4 km away. Over-hyped in our opinion, even though the setting is spectacular. All in all, Oyster Box is highly recommended.
